A: Hi BeachDad, Absolutely you can, there are no restriction other than they are battery powered. This means that depending if you use them to capture clips inside your home, battery are more likely to drain faster and may require new batteries often. Have a great day!
Q: Do we need to pay a subscription to be able to use the cameras?
A: There is a subscription for our cloud storage, but customers are not required to use it. Another storage option is local storage, activated by plugging a USB flash drive into a Sync Module 2 (or a Micro SD card into a Sync Module XR). Local storage has no recurring fee to use the feature. Either of these storage options will let you view clips remotely from your phone. Without a storage system for your clips your system will be able to detect motion, notify you of the motion, and live view. Here's what it does: Essential Functions: Connects cameras to Wi-Fi: Acts as the bridge between your cameras and home network/internet Stores video clips locally: Includes built-in storage so you can save recordings without a subscription Manages multiple cameras: Controls and coordinates up to 10 Blink cameras from one module Enables remote access: Allows you to view live feeds and recordings through the Blink app from anywhere Powers camera features: Enables motion detection alerts, two-way audio, and cloud storage options Why You Need It: Without the Sync Module, your Blink cameras can't: Connect to the internet or your phone Send you motion alerts Save or upload video clips Be viewed remotely The Good News: Since your bundle includes the Sync Module Core, you're all set! You won't need to buy anything else to get started. A: The Basic plan covers one device, while the Plus plan ($10/month) covers the entire account no matter how many devices there are. Only the 'Blink Sync Module 2' is able to utilize a USB drive for Local Storage. Our devices are tested and rated to accurately detect motion up to 20' away. With higher sensitivity settings things further than 20' may be picked up, however they are not rated to.
Q: Can these camera hold up in the rain and snow?
A: Hi Tavo! The Blink Outdoor 4 is IP65 rated, meaning that it's completely dust tight and resists jets of water. Specifically, "Water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm (0.25 in)) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects." So you won't have any issues with the average rain storm or snow fall with the Outdoor 4! They're also rated to function from -4 to 113 Fahrenheit , though extremely cold temperatures might have an impact on the battery life. Solid little camera that does the job
Wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s been a pleasant surprise. Setup took maybe 10 minutes. The video quality is sharp, even at night and the motion alerts are quick. I stuck it above my back door and it’s already caught a few late-night animal visits Battery life seems good sp won’t have to mess with charging it every few weeks. It’s small, blends in well, and doesn’t scream “security camera,” which I appreciate. Overall it’s a great option if you want something simple, reliable, and low maintenance.

Peace of Mind
I love this system. It is so simple to install, link to your internet, adjust and upload to the cloud when I was across the United States. We were able to see and talk to our dog when she was outside....from the other coast of the USA. Our dog was so confused to hear us but not see us. We even got a video and close up of an sales person selling eco friendly pesticide. The conversation was so clear that I downloaded it in its entirety and was able to stop wherever I needed to up load a certain frame and enlarge his face.

Highly Recommend!! Great cameras!!!
I love the blink cameras, you can adjust the settings for how many seconds or minutes you want it to record after a motion. It captures everything that moves, cars, and people. Recently it served me because someone was in my yard that I didn’t know. I was able to use my microphone feature which worked wonders because they were able to hear me clearly and left my yard. The camera was able to captured their face very clearly. At night if the cameras sense something it captures every sound and movement. I highly recommend these cameras and they have a wide range of coverage on any areas and angel you put them in.
