Q: QuestionThe description says USB flash drive up to 64GB but can a drive larger than 64GB be used?(2 answers)
A: AnswerYou can use a USB flash drive up to 256GB with the sync module 2.Answered by Blink
- A: AnswerThis would really depend on which Blink cameras you were adding, the Blink Indoor and Blink Outdoor cameras would require the sync module to operate. The Blink Mini cameras are able to operate on their own (no sync module required) You can have a total of 10 battery powered cameras per Sync Module 2. In addition, you can have a max of 10 Mini cameras per account, this applies to account with and without Sync Module 2.

- A: AnswerI find conflicting information about this topic. So, if I have the videos storage only in the Sync Module 2, will I be able to watch them form the app in my cellphone?
Answered by Pablo
- A: AnswerYou are able to adjust your camera settings, view video clips, receive notifications, and access live view through the App on your compatible mobile device from anywhere as long as you have a WIFI or cellular connection. This is important to note for your cellular data plan, watching a five second motion clip without WIFI connection will use about 750KB of your data plan.
Answered by Blink
- A: AnswerClips will be stored in MP4 format and will be viewable using Windows Media Player (and other applications) when the USB device is inserted into a PC.

- A: AnswerYou are able to use a USB flash drive up to 256GB with the sync module 2. When using the local storage option only, the cameras will record to the USB flash drive automatically and continue to record motion clips until full and then we will notify you to either free up storage or insert a new USB drive so we can keep recording clips. We will not record over any clips or delete them to make room, once the USB is full we stop saving clips to it.
