Blue Velvet Criterion Collection
|Posted .Owned for 5 months when reviewed. There’s almost an hour of deleted scenes plus multiple documentaries as well as an alternate soundtrack so this version definitely gets the proper Criterion treatment.
This review is from Blue Velvet [Criterion Collection] [Blu-ray] [1986]

Lynch at his best
|Posted .Owned for 6 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendIf you enjoyed Twin Peaks and Mulholland Drive, this movie falls into the same genre. I also viewed the Criterion blu and there is very little difference in terms of transfer, so if you don’t want to shell our $30 and more for the Criterion version, this is a great alternative.

Classic David Lynch!
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendAnother classic David Lynch movie! He’s one of the most influential directors and story tellers ever. The acting by Kyle is great as usual!

a gem to find in a mainstream store
|Posted .Owned for 7 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendDavid Lynch films are definitely surreal and understandably are not for everyone- if you’re interested in exploring Lynch’s work or surrealism in film in general, this would be my top recommendation- I’d like to think Dennis Hopper’s performance alone makes it a worthwhile watch.

Cheaper than Criterion
|Posted .Owned for 10 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendThere is now a Criterion Collection release of this film on Blu ray. That version is far superior, however, this price cant be beat and the transfer is very good!

David Lynch Please
|Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendHaunting, mesmerizing and sensual -- everything you'd expect from the leading surrealist filmmaker of the modern (or any) era. This is near peak-Lynch perfection and also, oddly enough, one of his most accessible. Then he gave us TWIN PEAKS <3 The MGM Blu-ray is perfectly fine although its lack of menu is frustrating (one of their follies on all blurays) so if you don't like that, get the Criterion release, otherwise, this one does just fine.
