A: Hi Zattack, thanks for your question and interest in Bosch! Models SHE53B75UC and SHEM63W55N are both 300 Series dishwashers that feature PrecisionWash®, where intelligent sensors and precision spray arms target every item in every load. Model SHE53B75UC is 46 dBA and has a capacity of 15 place settings versus 44 dBA and 16 place settings with model SHEM63W55N. Model SHE53B75UC also includes a water softener and Home Connect™ (WiFi enabled), which model SHEM63W55N does not have. SHE53B75UC has 6 wash cycles and 6 options compared to 5 wash cycles and 4 options with model SHEM63W55N. Both models dry using PureDry® condensation drying. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. It works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. One of the biggest differences between the 300 and 500 Series models is drying capability. Our 500 Series dishwashers include AutoAir® in addition to using PureDry®. The AutoAir® feature automatically releases the door at the end of the drying cycle to let in fresh air and let out moisture for better final drying. Q: Do power push buttons light up.
A: Hi, thanks for your question. The buttons on model SHE53B75UC do light up.
Q: It mentions water softener but in the specs it says no. Does this include built in water softener?
A: Yes this one does have a water softener. We purchased this specific model because of the Softener. It was confusing the way it is in the item title but not listed as a feature.

I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews about the machine not drying things completely. I didn't have any problems at all and found it to dry very well with just the rinse aid. There were some small areas of wetness on plastic, but it wasn't a dealbreaker at all. Everything got squeaky clean. The adjustability of the racks is great and the 3rd rack is very useful. I like the sanitize function and the app is relatively easy to set up. This is a much quieter machine than my previous one. Best Buy installation was very good despite there being a few challenges with this being an older house. Overall very pleased.

Beautiful and functional dishwasher for a good price. Easy to use and installation was so simple through Best Buy. It is amazing how quiet Bosch dishwashers are. I do recommend the high heat setting for drying. Great purchase!

I'm glad we waited until we had enough saved up for the Bosch. Literally every dishwasher review is "well, it's no Bosch but it's ....." The florescent light in the kitchen is louder than this washer. The loudest thing about it is the water hitting the door. Our plumber gave us a small credit back for the installation being so easy and literally no parts, just one little cord and the water in/out. Hoorah for Bosch, and for Best Buy
