Bose® - 251® Environmental Speakers (Pair) - Black

Have had them a few weeks out on a 35’x30’ deck facing a windy marsh, about 12’ high. The sound is phenomenal- what I expected from Bose and a bit more. Great frequency range for all types of music! Easy to mount on siding, easy to connect and disconnect with banana plugs. One flaw - the mounts allow for vertical adjustments only, can not direct them left or right so you have to fanagle your mount to set up a sweet spot on non-square spaces. If you think you need two pairs like I thought, you should try one pair first!

I have two sets of Yamaha speakers (Model:NS-AW390WH) and then added these to my backyard. What a difference they made. Brought a bunch of low end to the yard and can handle everything the receiver has to offer. The Yamaha's break up but the Bose just get louder. Might have to look into getting one more set of these to complete the sound system. I'm running the system in 7 channel stereo, with the two Bose as the main fronts, pair of Yamaha's as the high front channel with the remaining Yamaha's as the rear set.

The 251's have been installed on the ceiling of my patio and are accompanied by a pair of Bose Freespace speakers around the pool. I have it all driven by the Bose amp and fed by the Soundtouch bluetooth integrated devices for a total Bose outdoor solution. Words just cannot express the sound quality and listening pleasure as an audiophile that my family and i are experiencing!

This is my second pair of awesome speakers. Can’t go wrong with these. Great for patio and outdoor music. I added a small woofer to my patio and the sound is great. Expensive but can’t go wrong.

This is my third pair of Bose speakers that I use in our outdoor garden. First pair was twelve years ago, second pair six years ago and now the third pair. We expanded the garden and needed the music. All of the speakers are still working and are left outside all year. It is a delight for us to work and enjoy the garden all year around even in the harsh Ohio winters. Who knows, the fourth pair may come next year.

Installed these outside for my back deck area. Plenty of power and nice crisp sound. May be a little low on the bass but otherwise very pleased. Purchased a Yamaha a/v receiver to driver them.

This was an upgrade to my outdoor speaker setup. I originally had a soundbar with subwoofer, then a 5.1 htib but once I got those two installed, nothing else compares. Easy setup, came with brackets all I had to get was speaker wire. I also installed a volume control knob and they do not crackle during adjustment. Thank you boose!
