Perfect rear speaker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, so I moved into this house where the previous owner had wired everything a bit strangely. So after re wiring everything , tried to find the perfect small speaker to fit in a great room setting. Basically everything else was in wall but for the rear speakers had this huge been to deal with so needed something with a small foot print. Found these through some reviews and blogs and decided to go for it. They not only fit the area due to their small size and mount, they sounded terrific. I didn't need to paint them. They are an off white so blended perfectly into the walls. The mounts are great too.

Great to fill backyard with sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mounted these upside down hanging from a porch. The straight mounting plate's screw holes do not line up with a 2x4 beam. Therefore could only mount using two screws. I am pretty sure its secure enough but if you are trying to put all 4 screws on a stud, beware. Sound-wise it sounds great for being outdoors. These will not have the same amount of bass as having a sub-woofer but for being background music for a backyard, there is plenty of bass. Mids and Highs are very clear. Running them off an old Pioneer 5.1 receiver. Will be testing out later how these will work off a re-purposed car stereo deck and a computer power supply for backyard music. Got theses at a sale price, essentially buy one get one free sale, and cannot beat that price. Maybe a little expensive if purchasing one at the full retail of $100 or so.

Great sound for a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these speakers for my outdoor patio and they really blew me away! Originally went to purchase a pair of Yamahas but couldn't deny that these sounded much clearer. Compared to the Bose speakers, these speakers were pretty comparable and were much more reasonable. Very easy to mount and connect to the stereo system. Will be purchasing more when I expand the system!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the bracketry make these as cool as they sound. the shape of the speakers and their bracketry make these speakers unique for corner mounting. very unique and a must need in some situations where most other speakers wont compare. give these some high consideration if you are into custom mounting.

Good sounding speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these speakers to put out on my patio. I like how they had multiple mounting options which allowed me to place these in a corner area of the patio. The sound on these speakers is perfect for a patio. I was looking for something that would give some background noise while entertaining which these definitely do. They are also great if I want to crank them a bit when I am sitting out by myself. I got these when they were 50% off (49.99) a piece. It would be nice if they came in a pair like speakers normally do. I do not know who would want to buy just 1 speaker.

Nice Audio! Simple set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first purchase was for a different pair of speakers, however, when I got them home, I realized that they did not hang under the eaves of the patio. I returned that pair and exchanged them for this speaker. This speaker had superior audio quality and looked a lot better than the original pair, but the only issue I was trying to justify was the extra money I had to pay. After I got them home and mounted under the eaves, the money did not matter any more. They mounted very easily with the included hardware, plus they sound and look MUCH better than the original pair.

Q: QuestionHow many do I needI am buying this speaker for our backyard. Do we need more than the 1? If yes how many?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Great question, and one that a lot of people ask. We do recommend at least two speakers to give you right and left audio. I can recommend an article that Electronic House recently posted about creating an outdoor space with audio and video systems. Here's what they say: "Speaker placement in a backyard or outdoor space can be trickier than in a living room or home theater. Outside sound travels and can either travel far, into the yard next door, or not far enough so you may only get sound in localized spots. “Placement really needs to be thought out carefully,” says Steve Hunter. “You want the sound to be even across the whole area.” He noted that in the west Los Angeles area where his business is, yards or patios can be small, so he needs to be careful about where the speakers are projecting. “Typically I’ll put a set of speakers in the back of the yard, on a wall [if the yard has a wall] so they’re facing toward the house, and a set on the patio under the eaves,” he explains. This way the sound is all focused toward the living area of the yard and not simply blasted out into the neighborhood. For larger yards he uses landscape speakers that look like landscape lights. He’ll place them roughly in a circle pointing toward the listening area so that everyone can hear at the same volume. Because low frequencies have very large waves, they tend to dissipate quickly, so Hunter also recommends a subwoofer to fill in the sound. Subwoofers that can be partially buried are a good option." Hope this helps!

Q: QuestionHow can I play my iPod on the speakers outdoors on my deck? Can the speakers be left outside year-round even in winter?
Asked by Peter.
- A:Answer Hi Peter, sorry for the delayed response. Yes, you can leave the SoundWare speakers outside in all weather, all year round!! As far as playing your iPod, you will need a source like a receiver connected to the SoundWare speakers. Does this help? -Colleen

Q: QuestionProscam 42" LED TV Speakersdo you have any speakers (external) that will connect and work on above TV? I've bought 2 other sets get get to hook up and work
Asked by JDW.
- A:Answer I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. You can use a soundbar that would connect directly to your TV. the soundbar can then be mounted on the wall above or below your tv. indoor use only. we also have a system called SoundWare XS Digital Cinema which is pretty cool too. It has 2 small speakers & a subwoofer (not wireless). This also connects directly to your TV.
