Q: Am I reading this right? For a TN720, you get 3000 pages for ~$53 but you get 10 times as many pages with the DR720 for only twice the cost(~$110)?

A: Correct.. Buy the long term drum and skip the lower count unit.

Q: I have a Brother MFC-78600W, what drum is compatible? I only have changed the cartridges. I do not even know where the drum is or how to get it out. HELP!!! Can you do a service call and put the drum in for me?? What is the cost? Please advise.

Q: What Brother laser printers is this compatable with? I have a Brother intellifax 4750e. The owners manual says Brother DR400 is the drum I need. When i enter that in the best buy website The Brother DR720 comes up. There is a $50 price difference.

Q: For Brother MFC-8810DW printer, do I need to buy a drum unit or a toner to replace or I can buy either. Looks like my printer has a drum unit in it. Bit confusing, what to buy as their website has TN720, DR720 and TN750 as replacement products.

A: The toner cartridge should be a separate unit and the drum is it's own entity.. In this case, I believe the toner cartridge sits on top of the drum assembly. The drum unit is only good for a few thousand copies and becomes dirty,, It must either be repaired or replaced.. Toner cartridges can run out of toner at any time depending on how much printing is being done.
