Great Label Maker
||Posted .This unit is a replacement for my PT-PC that was 15 years old. The PT-PC operated off a serial port which the new units don't have and it's software wouldn't work with Windows 7. This new unit is not only about 1/5 the price of the old unit but it's software works great and it makes the same great labels that the old PT-PC made. Unfortunately, Best Buy does not carry the 1/4 inch labels for this printer but Amazon does. It is a great unit.

Best Label Maker Ever
||Posted .Unbelievably easy to set-up and use. Plug into the wall and plug into your USB port. Load CD software. BOOM. The software is idiot-proof. Simple to add a business logo and print in seconds. The ability to change different color tape and ink is an awesome plus. I've only been using the included tape but it has been working Great. Highly recommend.

Q: QuestionIs there a driver that allows me to print directly to the printer, or do I have to use the supplied software application? I want to integrate this with a MS Access project that I'm building, and print directly from my Access program to the printer.
Asked by Farmgirl97756.
- A:Answer Yes, there is a driver available to use the Brother PTP700, you can download the driver in the Brother support web site at https://support.brother.com/

Q: QuestionReferring to the brother label printer PT-P700 - Can you print 1 single label? Do you have to use a certain label? If so how much do they cost a roll?
Asked by bandito9016.
- A:Answer Yes you can print a single label. It only uses tape made for this label maker and it is fairly expensive, but then not many labels of any type are cheap. Google PT-P700 and you will see where others have tweaked the defaults settings to get it to waste less tape between labels.
