Great!!! Action and drama
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The wuxia genre has seen its fair share of evolutionary changes and most recently it has taken to being a rather artistic and epic affair thanks to filmmakers like Zhang Yimou. There have been a few films that harken back towards the more classic (and pulpy) wuxia style like 14 Blades, but it’s usually either one or the other. Rarely does one find a film that blends a slick modern visual style of modern Hong Kong and the classic old school foundations for the genre. Not only does Brotherhood of Blades do that, but it also efficiently blends the two in such a way as to be a massively entertaining action packed ride and a heartfelt and dramatic tale.

Awesome Action film!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Asian-Action genre is not for everybody, but if you are looking for intelligent, cinematic, eye-popping action, then "Brotherhood of Blades" is for you. There is real tension, visually stunning landscapes and the unbelievable stunts are actually believable. If you enjoyed "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", "House of Flying Daggers" or "Iron Monkey" then this movie is a must.

Well executed. Quality release from WellGoUSA
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Any fan of these kind of films won't find any faults with this. Yes, the drama is a little hackneyed, but that's always the case in the genre. The action / production is great. As for picture quality / sound, it looks and sounds great to me...though a "professional" reviewer would probably find some technical faults somewhere therein. Overall, happy to add this one to my collection!

Good story and fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a fun movie. I'm a fan of Asian cinema and this movie did not disappoint. The story was good and the fight sequences, though not as many as I would have liked, were fun to watch. Overall a good show.

Latest Martial Arts adventure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just the right mix of plot and action. the story of camaraderie and friendship that supersedes self interest. Its drama and action at its best in a series of more up to date martial arts movies.

Great video and audio quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The movie itself was very engaging for me when I watched it the first time. I still like it a lot after watched it on Blu-Ray several times. The video quality is excellent. All most all frames are demo worthy. The audio is even better. If you have a home theater system, you would be able to get the most out of this disc.

Brotherhood of Blades doesn't disappoint!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exciting martial arts film with a decent storyline with intrigue involving the Imperial Guard set in the Ming Dynasty. Actors do a great job and the fight scenes aren't that overly exaggerated and over the top. Sorry too much fake blood and storyline content is definitely not for little ones.

Great Martial Arts Movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best martial arts movies with the use of weaponry (in this case blades) I've seen in awhile especially it wasn't one I've heard of coming out!
