Sunnydale High has blown up, so Buffy begins her journey into college. The big bad this season is the Initiative and the monster they created named Adam. Riley Finn is introduced and becomes Buffy's boyfriend. Sadly, Oz decides that he needs to leave - but Tara is introduced! Ethan Rayne also returns for an episode. Faith returns as well. There's a Halloween episode - love those holiday episodes! "Hush" is the best episode of the season. Citizens have their voices stolen by demons, and it shows that the cast of Buffy can survive without any dialogue. It also shows that Willow is becoming a powerful witch and that her and Tara are more than just friends. Giles' drawings are always entertaining. "Superstar" is an episode that revolves around Jonathan, in which he has become the coolest person in Sunnydale. This is a good season, but the show was much better when Buffy was in highschool.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is an outstanding social commentary on the trials and tribulations of the youths of today. It is still relevant and has a way of really sucking you in (pun intended). You can't really ask for a more self aware show that readily pokes fun at itself. I found the joy of Buffy a couple of years ago and I am now hooked. I wold highly recommend this series to anyone who likes romance, suspense, sci-fi, action and comedy genres. It has it all.

Season 4 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite. With Buffy in college she meets a new variety of people. We meet some new enemies and some new friends. The villians include Adam, Spike, and the Gentlemen. I greatly enjoy watching this season. Giles is great in this season.
