My first camera
|Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never purchased a camera before and all of my research lead me to this camera. It is super easy to use and set up. I also liked that it could be attached to my ring light easily and it was lightweight. The zoom lens it comes with is perfect for up-close photos and content creation! Disclaimer: Best Buy College Crew members receive products to write honest, unbiased reviews. Great Mirrorless Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice sharp pictures as expected from canon. I bought this camera so that I could use most of the canon lenses I already have - just wish the canon brand adapter that makes that possible wasn't so expensive. The kit lens is a decent walk around lens. I was impressed with the 16"x20" prints I was able to produce. The compact size is just what I was looking for.

Excellent purchase
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera was on clearance for $700 with original price $1100. Overall I’ll say it was good deal. Order came in on time. Actually my first experience operating a canon product, but it was easy to setup that couldn’t even last up to 30 minutes. The only problem was, it took me like 6 hours to first charge the battery and once it was charged, pam... I was good to go. I’ll recommend to a friend

Q: QuestionExplain how my "OLD" Canon lenses are going to work here? Or is it only going to work on the new M6? Will we have to purchase an expensive adapter? Why would Canon not have 4K in 2017 ? We all are assuming new products would take us foreword.
Asked by Yoopershooter.
- A:Answer You do have to have the M adapter for your regular Canon lenses to work but using them defeats the purpose of having this small camera in the first place. That is why there are lenses specific for the M series. You certainly can use the other ones but than why not use a DSLR? I think the whole point is to have something to carry on vacation or on a hike and get great pics without the bulk of an SLR. As far as video, I don't use it but I agree 4K should have been included.
