Q: Can this printer be hard wired to my computer if I don't want to use wi-fi?
A: It says USB connectivity.
Q: Can I set this up to work via WiFi w my iPad?
A: My son-in-law got my iPad to print on this. With 3 different WiFi’s to choose it wouldn’t work with the one that’s 5G. It did work with the other nes. Just have to make sure you have the right WiFi site setup on your iPad before printing.
Q: Does it work with Windows 10? What about Windows 7?
A: Does not work at all. I passed the return window at Best Buy and have no patience/time to deal with the Canon warranty.
A: With the paper feed tray open - 15in deep With the top open where printed papers are caught - 11in high Printer width - 14 1/2in I hope this helps.
A: Yes you can download the software, My computer doesn't have a cd slot either.
Q: Can this laser printer process thick cardstock? Or would it get jammed?
A: It worked fine for me with light cardstock (65-80lb). It jammed every time with 110 lb.
Q: Does this printer work with a Chrome Book?
A: No, not for me. When I want to print from Chromebook, I must print to pdf and save it to my google drive, then go to a pc (with the installed printer driver) and print the pdf from there. I can print from my phone however, by using an app and sharing with the printer.
Q: Will this work with windows 11
A: Yes, worked for me. I downloaded the drivers from Canon's website and folliwed their instructions.
