That till lift the scan screen and everything above it, then lift the black toner cover tray that has a little lift handle on the right side when facing printer, the just pull the toner out and drop new on in!

Easy to set up and shows up for work every time.
The all-in-one, Canon imageCLASS MF247dw laser printer offers high quality output, feature-rich capabilities and reliability that is ideal for any small office or home office environment. The imageCLASS MF247dw has print, scan, copy and fax capabilities so you can accomplish all necessary tasks with just one machine. I have had this for quite sometime and really like it. I have two printers and this is the main one for the printing of black and white materials. It also prints double sided so I save lots of paper when used. I use it moderately for work and personal use. It is fairly quick and the like the print. It is legible. It also scans which I use quite a bit for work as well as copies and I think faxes although I do not use the fax feature. Note on the scan, you can send it to a computer, flash drive or email. I have also been able to print from my phone and my Kindle which is a wonderful feature. I think the original ink cartridge lasted over 2000 pages so you get quite a bit of use.

My first laser AIO printer
- bought it during a sale period and price was affordable - difficult to follow the instructions in the manual for driver installation , set up ,etc. -to register product one needs serial # but the description of where serial # is located was confusing -what is described in manual does not match what is on machine - so far print, copy scan works smooth and well - still need to install fax - manual instructions needs improvement. Otherwise it is very frustrating fire the customer . - once you figure it out it works well - needs patience and time

imageCLASS Perfection
The price on this unit couldn't be better. Canon makes a great all-in-one printer at rock bottom prices. It performs as well as many higher end HP's I have owned in the past. Highly recommend.
