A: The rear paper tray is not an internal tray. It is a feeder tray that folds out on the upper back portion similar to the tray on the front where are the paper exits. I use the front loading internal tray for eight and a half by 11 paper and I use the rear tray for 4 by 6 photo paper.
Q: Can I use this with apple ipad
A: Yes - as long as you have connected the printer to your WiFi, and the printer and the iPad are using the same wifi network. Choose the Send To icon (box with arrow pointing up), select Printer, and you should see your printer. (By "same network", I mean if you have traditional and 5G set up, make sure you're using the same one on the iPad and Printer).
