Capresso - SG220 12-Cup Coffee Maker - Black/stainless steel

Wow!! This thing brews HOTTTT coffee!! I have been using it for a week now and unlike other coffee pots that seem to be three feet tall, this one is the traditional height that I love, and along with its stainless steel appearance, those are the reasons I decided to give it a Try! The strength button I've used every time because I like my coffee strong, and it seems as if I can use slightly less coffee grounds in order to achieve the same flavor. I went against instructions and used a paper filter inside the reusable filter and it works fine, but coffee is MORE flavorful without it. I HIGHLY recommend giving this pot a try!!!

I like the size of this coffee maker. It’s not too large like some others. It also vents in the front (away from my cabinets) which I like. This coffee maker has a reusable coffee filter which is one more thing to wash. However, it is nice not having to deal with disposable filters.

This one is quite a bit shorter than others which hold the same amount of coffee. So in an kitchen with shorter height between the counters and cabinets, it fits nicely under the top cabinets. Simple, easy to use, and makes expected good tasting coffee. Only thing negative, it seems to overspill when pouring when the carafe is very full.

If you are looking for a Coffee Maker that makes a great cup of coffee, this is it. Have had several different Coffee Makers, from expensive to economical and this has been the best. The problem I have had with all the others is, you cannot make a smaller amount of coffee and have it taste as good as a larger amount. This Coffee Maker makes great coffee every time, whether I make 2 cups or more. Love it and love my coffee.

It does what it needs to do. Looks good on the counter and has performed well. The strength button does add some robust flavor. I really like that you don't need filters, it has one to reuse. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's a bit slow when brewing a pot with the strength on. But I just set the automatic brew a little earlier so it's ready when I wake up.

I went through about 4 to 5 pots and returned them all and this was the best one that was simple and good. I did have to return once because the clock light went out but Best Buy was easy to return and replaced it

Compared all the coffee makers Best Buy had on the shelf. Didn't want anything to fancy or expensive. This one did everything I needed. Takes about fifteen minutes to brew a full pot, but worth the wait. And hot! Cons: Doesn't beep when done.

Our brand x coffeemaker decided it wasn't going to work anymore. Off to shop for another. I was determined I wasn't going to buy the same brand. I went to multiple stores with no success. At the last minute I went to Best Buy. Not being familiar with this brand (Capresso) I decided to give it a try. Very happy with my purchase.
