Q: What is the distance of the mounting holes/ hooks?
A: There are slits on the mounting plate that allow the customer to choose where to install the screws so that the shelf can accommodate a variety of stud placements.

Q: Will this hold a Bose Soundbar 700???
A: Thank you for your question. The dimensions of the shelf are 40"L x 6" W and can support up to 11lbs. Based on the Bose Soundbar 700 specifications (38.5"L x 4.25" W and 10.5lbs), this shelf should support the soundbar. Q: Could this carry Samsung Q60T sound bar?
A: Because the sound bar is 43" wide but our shelf is 40" wide I would not recommend this combination.
Q: How does this mount on the wall?
A: Best install is to find the studs and screw into up to 3 studs. I only used 2 because I bought this for my soundbar that's probably less than 10 pounds.
Q: does this support Vizio 40' ?
A: Personally I would not put a tv on it because it's only 6 inches wide and for me I would be nervous about it getting knocked off. It's perfect for my soundbar and my tv is on a tv wall mount just above it.

Q: Can the Bose sound bar 300 hold on this?
A: it will yes. Just make sure you bolt it to the studs and you will be fine.
