A: Hi chbbgor, The mounting bracket will adjust for the new socket positions however you will need new standoffs due to the adjusted stack height. Q: Can anyone explain the differences between the 240mm and 280mm radiator? Besides the price?
A: Hi Noob, The physical size of the radiator and the fans that mount to them are different. The 240mm uses 2x 120mm fans while the 280mm uses 2x 140mm fans. Each will require that your case have the proper mounting locations for the radiator to be installed. A: Yes. I have an i7-9700K, so a newer model, but same exact size. It also comes with a few different mounting attachments for different CPU types, so it’s a pretty universal fit into a PC. Just make sure your case is bug enough to fit it ahead of time! It’s kind of bulky.
