A: These are cherry mx speed switches. They have the same 45g actuation force as cherry mx reds, but they are shorter and closer down to the key so that you don't have to bottom out the key. This keyboard is meant for fps gamers or other gamers, but also would be great for anyone doing long typing due to the low actuation force and not needing to bottom out the keys.
A: No it is not. If you want AuraSync you need to buy the Claymore from Asus. This RGB keyboard is customized and managed by Corsair Cue Software.
