Quiet, Capable PSU
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed.I used this power supply in my first build. Very easy to work with after learning what each cable was used for. Minimal cable usage as it is a modular PSU meaning you only plug in the cables you need making cable management much easier so long as you aren't maxing out your build. I was worried initially about my GPU as I was planning on getting a 3070, but couldn't pass up on the chance to snag a 3080 and Nvidia's recommended PSU was 750w. I specifically went with 650w over 550w for future upgrades and I am glad I did because my 3080 has had no problems on this PSU. And it is super quiet. I am not sure I have even heard the fan kick up which I am sure it has since putting in the 3080. My previous GPU that I was borrowing until I could get a 30 series card was far less capable and far louder, but the 3080 may be a tad bit louder than the PSU fan as I cannot hear it if it does kick on. When upgrading down the line, I will definitely be sticking with the RMx line (probably 850+). Given that I decided to build during the pandemic, prices all around were fluctuating wildly. However, I purchased my CPU for the near lowest price it had ever been, but got stuck paying a premium on this PSU. Most things were either out of stock or 2-3x the pre-pandemic (and likely higher tariffs) price. All-in-all I have been very happy with this PSU and would recommend it (or a higher wattage one) to anyone. Specs (for reference): Mobo - MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus Motherboard CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 Ram - 16 GB Team T-Force Vulcan Z 3200 Mhz CL 16 Ram (2x8) Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition GPU - 3080 FE (was using an XFX Radeon 6950 until acquiring the new GPU) Case - NZXT H510 Fans - 1x 120mm Noctua Redux NF-S12B PWM for rear exhaust; 1x 140mm Noctua Redux NF-P14S 1500 PWM for top exhaust Storage - 1x 500 GB NVME, 1x 120 SSD (boot drive), 1x 1TB SSD

Good starter power supply
||Posted .Great starter power supply. You might want to future proof your machine though because in the grant scheme of things 650 isn’t a lot of power. I recommend 1000 or 1300

Good stuff, good price
Posted .First build I have ever done and of course I was very nervous as to if everything was going to work well together and I was worried that this might not be enough to power my build. Well it is quite good and it does more than enough for the current setup and I it is really nice. Not too loud and I can always depend on it to start up and keep my build running!
