Another Name Brand Disaster!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cons: - Does not set level on any surface. One or more rubber feet are never all touching at the same time on the counter, table, anywhere I set it – depending on if you have water in the tank or coffee in the pot. Acts like a rocking chair – thought I bought a coffee maker. It is apparently warped in manufacturing somehow – lack of quality control is apparent – as I have it in my home now. - Water fill lines on the carafe DO NOT correspond with the fill lines on the water tank. You will not be filling this up blindly by just pouring water to the 12-cup line on the water tank – your coffee pot WILL OVERFLOW!!! I did this three times in a row when running clean water through to try to get rid of the horrible plastic smell everything seems to have anymore – so it is no fluke. - Coffee does not taste like coffee from other Cuisinart coffee makers. I used the same amount of coffee I always have and the coffee actually come out weak. Sure this has a BOLD button on it, but why can't it make regular strength coffee? Temperatures seem to settle on 160+ – Low, 170+ – Med, 180+ – High for the different carafe temperature settings. Low and medium do not seem adequate – but high sure does give you a hot cup. I'm worried though the coffee is scorching at the higher hold temperature as refills are not as good as the first cup. - Filter basket does not seem to want to stay put. Half of the time I am putting the carafe on the burner, as soon as the lid on the pot hits the brew/pause part – the whole basket pops loose. I see it is not very well designed as there is a plastic snap/catch you have to get just right for it to hold in place. I see this as a potential fail point when this one piece of plastic breaks – the filter basket would never stay put. - Steam and condensation – Why make a see-through water tank if all it does is stay fogged up with condensation? The same to be said for the filter basket. The condensation from the filter basket area makes a mess. Does not matter if the filter basket is in or out, water drops eventually leak under the filter basket past the pause/brew area – and drips down on your pot or burner. You can take time to empty the filter basket and wipe it down, but then I noticed the steam from the carafe adds to the fogging issues – as I wiped the condensation from the inside of the basket – it was noticeable the steam rises and condenses in the area you point the spout. If you place it as pictured from the manufacturer, water droplets start forming on bottom the metal-looking piece separating the water tank and filter basket. No thanks. Never seen so much steam/condensation. Not easy to clean, too much mess. Very much an extra chore. - Lastly, when it is almost through making coffee – it gets very loud like its about to blow up. Steam starts rising out of the top of the coffee maker really bad – so no under-counter use would be recommended. It only steams real bad towards the end of the cycle – but it is a lot of steam that you don't want ruining your cabinets. Pros: It is pretty to look at when not in use – as intended. Can pour water from carafe without it going everywhere.

Beware of The Buttons!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes a superior and exceptionally delicious pot of coffee, however the lettering on the buttons wears off. Eventually you're left with blank buttons that say nothing at all. Try making a pot of coffee that way! I contacted Cuisinart, who instructed me to, "Cut the cord off the pot and return it to them" (along with a check for $10), to get a replacement unit sent to me under the warranty. I did this, but feel this is wrong, as it seems to be poor quality buttons they are using in the first place. The replacement unit has the exact same issue, and I don't feel I should pay another $10 (for another replacement unit) only for the cycle to repeat itself. We've owned many, many different coffee makers over the years, this being the most expensive and this is the first time there's been an issue of this nature. I am disappointed with the quality of this Cuisinart coffee maker, being I own many lovely Cuisinart products. I have always held the Cuisinart product name in the highest regard. It's discouraging that they're making me jump through hoops to get replacements for an issue that's most certainly on their end.

Easy Clean
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, it's a coffee pot and it makes coffee! Easy to clean is a nice feature, it's also easy to use and stylish. I noticed that the water tank has a hole towards the top so I cover it with my finger when I fill the tank with water. I'm assuming the hole is needed to pull the water from the tank to the pot. I also noticed that you never want to refill the tank until the system is cooled or it will pump the water into the pot thinking it still has more coffee to make even if the warmer is just on. No big deal, just good to know! I love the pot and have no regrets at all, I bought this to replace my Ninja coffee bar that had a problem with the clean light always coming on and I just got tired of dealing with the flaw they wouldn't stand behind.

Great design
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It functions as any coffee maker would. Nothing particularly special about its brew except for the cone filters which provide a stronger flavor. The design is key here. The see through elements are great to watch when it runs its cycle. Nice addition to a modern kitchen.

This is an awesome coffee maker
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This coffee maker not only brews coffee but looks cool doing it. Pretty compact, easy to figure out how to set the timer.i set mine to brew 15 mins before I wake up and it ready when I stumble over to get a cup. The craft feels like it’s a bit thin but has held up very well to the couple dings I have given it. Comes with a mesh filter, but I still use the #4 cone filters since I use cheaper coffee in this.

Brews excellent hot coffee, button label issue
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This brewer does an excellent job at brewing coffee and keeping it hot. However, as many others have said, the labels on the buttons are starting to wear off already, and I've own this for less than 1 months. I would still recommend as the coffee brewing is done very well.

Best on market
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I stayed in a fancy hotel and this was the coffee maker in the hotel room. I liked it so much I ordered it from Best Buy then and there. The warming plate burner thing he keeps the coffee warm for hours without giving it that burnt taste. The way that it brews is amazing. The coffee tastes so much better than any other coffee maker I’ve used. It has a built-in water filter that you change every few months. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Not to mention, it looks beautiful.

Pretty Great Coffee Maker
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This system makes some pretty good coffee! I'll give it 5 stars for the coffee except that the water container is made of plastic and it slightly irks me that hot water is flowing through it.
