Q: Would this be a GREAT computer to run Solidworks 2016 3D graphics modeling software?
A: Anonymous, Thank you for your interest in a Flux system! While the Flux meets or exceeds most of the system requirements, Solidworks and other design programs often only certify based off of professional level graphics cards, such as NVIDIA's Quadro series or AMD's FireGL or FirePro series. In the past, this has not necessarily completely excluded systems with GeForce or Radeon series cards from running design software, but may affect performance and/or features on those that will run with these cards. The Flux could certainly be upgraded to utilize cards from the professional level series, should you find this to best suit your needs. Doing so would would also leave the warranty and Free Lifetime Technical Support we provide on the system intact, as these are not voided simply because the configuration has been modified.
