A: I would assume because the item descriptions want to brag on the BEST features of the device. The I3 is the lowest of the Intel Core processors. If it were an I7 or probably even an I5, you can bet that it would have been mentioned.

A: I was in the very position you were as well. There is button to trigger the disk tray. It is on the front, right side of the Disk Plate. It has 3 circles on it. Hope this helps a little.

A: Besides from the default Microsoft products, dell left several software products for it's store, upgrade center, etc... Best Buy offered me a 6 Month license to some virus thing that has more use in a trash can. And the usual McAfee trail was pre-installed.
