    Refurbished DJI Mini 4 Pro

    This drone came in all the original packaging and was a breeze to set up and get flying with ease. I would highly recommend Best Buy's refurbished products.

    Completely Misled / Loss of Returning Customer

     I went in store to buy this drone new. The sales person on the floor told me about the refurbished models I could get online and how they were much cheaper. When I got home, I took out a line of credit through Affirm specifically for the drone as a firm, gives the line of credit based on the cost of the product. I took a hit on my credit, but thought it was worth it since I would be able to pay it off over 12 months. I added the drone to my cart as it showed that it was in stock and would arrive the next day since I chose to pay for expedited shipping. Once I submitted my payment and waited for my confirmation and receipt I was unexpectedly sent back to my account home screen with no confirmation. I looked in my car the drone was gone so I searched the site again, trying to figure out what was going on. When I found the drone, it said it was sold out. I tried contacting Customer Support to explain what happened as the drone was also offered in two other packages so I thought, if it was sold out, they could take one out of the other packages, considering it was refurbished by them anyways and sell it in this package. I was told that Customer Support didn’t have control over that without the drone would be back in stock within two days. The Customer Support representative then said I should get the credit card because it will give me 10% off. I told him that I had already taken out of line of credit and that it would knock my credit score down and I probably wouldn’t get approved for a credit card right after that. The customer service agent guaranteed that I would be approved. I have screenshots of the conversation where he said it was 100% chance of me getting approved. I decided to go ahead and trust him to customer support representative as I’ve always had a good experience with the folks working in store. I went through the application that he sent me using his link, and as soon as I submitted it, I was sent to a new page saying I was not approved. So basically, I was lied to, and my credit score was hurt as a result. Not only did I not get the 10% discount, I later found out from another customer support representative, which I called this time, that they didn’t have any refurbished mini 4 pros and that they wouldn’t have them until February.  I found this interesting, because I was also told that this will be the first time they sold this as refurbished Yet there’s already several reviews. Also, let this be a warning to anyone looking to buy them in the other refurbished packages. I was told they have no mini 4 drones until February. The listings are still up, showing that they are in stock despite the fact that I told several people in support, including a manager that they were showing in stock on the website. My offer for the line of credit expires before then so basically, I took two pretty big hits on my credit score, didn’t get any sort of discount, and also didn’t get a drone. When I brought this to the attention of customer support, after making another call, they brushed it off and said they were “ transferring me” so I could submit my complaint. I was hung up on when I was put on hold twice trying to do this. So basically, there’s no way to submit a complaint or get any kind of restitution for the two hits on my credit score, being repeatedly lied to, and no one try to find a solution to fix the error in their system, saying that the drone was in stock. Feel free to contact me Best Buy if you want to make this right. I’ve always been a loyal customer and bought my tech gear from the store near me. If there’s no resolution here, don’t expect me or anyone in my family to every buy anything else from you. I’ve never run into issues like this in the past but then again, I’ve always shopped in store and I’m pretty sure a third-party company was handling all of my support request.

    Good purchase with reasonable price

    I should have given 5 stars to the drone itself. However, I took one of the stars due to a missing USB-C phone RC connection. I called Best Buy, and the only option was to return it and buy a new one. Another glitch was still under the former owner's name, and I called DJI to debond it. That was fixed within 24 hours. Done was in perfect shape with ~11 months of DJI warranty left.
