    Synopsis

    Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story
Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story revolves around amiable underachiever Peter LaFleur (Vince Vaughn), whose rundown gym, Average Joe's, is populated by a less-than-average clientele including a self-styled pirate, an ultra-obscure sports aficionado, and a pining high school nerd. It soon becomes apparent that Joe's is in financial trouble and will soon be foreclosed by attractive attorney Kate Veach (Christine Taylor) - unless Peter can cough up $50,000. Despite Average Joe's posing little threat to Globo Gym, a fitness Goliath across the street that is owned by egomaniacal White Goodman (Ben Stiller) - Goodman senses an easy acquisition and decides to take over the facility. Peter's ragtag group of regulars, however, are less than thrilled with the prospects, and mobilize a showdown, winner-takes-all Dodgeball tournament against Globo Gym. The film also features Missi Pyle, Rip Torn, Stephen Root, and Alan Tudyk. ~ Tracie Cooper, Rovi

Not sure where to begin on this awesome comedy movie, it's a great underdog story and true recipe for greatness you start slow but with just a little help and motivation/inspiration you can do almost anything. You don't need to be perfect to be great just do your job. Ben stiller of course directs and acts in great movies theirs not one off the top of my head he's not good in and then of course theirs Vaughn who has grown into a highly respect funny but serious actor who just had that funny attitude about him but can actually make it look like he's serious. I'd Truely recommend this great movie to a friend as to you would think it's a new movie even still 11 years later.

This isn't a movie that is a "must have" in blu ray, but at the sale price, it's definitely worth it. For those that hadn't already seen it, but have seen other Ben Stiller movies, this is one that should be added to the list. Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn have great chemistry on this movie and of course, it's surrounded by ridiculousness and outlandish comedic acting. And I still loved it. If you're not into the sense of humor that Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn tend to portray in their movies, then this one isn't for you. $4.99 sale price for a blu ray was a must buy for me.

Often over the top and absolutely hilarious at times, this movie has always been a kind of guilty pleasure of mine ever since I say it years ago in the theater: razor-sharp dialogue, many memorable scenes and quotable quotes. Just darn funny. PQ (picture quality) was actually quiet good (3.5 out of 5 stars). AQ (audio quality) was also above par (3.5 out of 5 stars), dialogue was always very clean. The disc is a bit light on extras and special features, but the feature film more than makes up for it.

Being a teen i love hits to the groin. This movie is chock full of them, not to mention alot of people taking balls to the face(lol). Personally, Justin Long is my favorite actor so i love anything he's in, but this has to be the funniest movie of all time. Ben Stiller plays the most idiotic person ever. His stupidity alone is reason enough to see this movie. For Me, it has become more of a cult following. I practically worship this movie. Everyone on Earth should see it. Buy It !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This movie is one of the funniest movies of all time! Ben Stiller plays the ego maniac jock in the world of Dodgeball, while Vince Vaughn owns a small gym where geeky weaklings hang out. After several funny events, the two characters end up facing eachother and other teams in a Dodgeball tournament. The tournament was when I really noticed the audio, hearing the perfect ring of red rubber smacking against a face. This movie rocks!

This is just a laugh out load movie, great physical comedy, and the chemistry is just plain awesome between Vince and Ben. The two really work off each other, even though they are nemesises. If you enjoy sophomoric humor this is for you. However, if you are an elitist, intellectual snob, go back to driving your Pious, I mean Prius, nothing for you to see here. :) Buy it, love it, and LOL all the way home with this baby!

This is a very funny movie, and you should watch it. I bought this movie and have rewatched it many times, and it is still funny after every time. The humor is nonstop, but be warned it can be a little raunchy. Ben Stiller does an awesome job of making you hate his character. If you like comedies then I would highly recommend watching this movie, it is funny from start to finish.

Vince Vaughan owns Average Joe's gym, a down and out place for regular folks to get in shape. Ben Stiller, his lifelong rival, runs Globogym, the corporate, image destroying gym next door. What follows is the convoluted tale of how the Joe's fight back to save their gym through some adult Dodgeball action. Hilarious and worth a look.
