Easy Tiger is certainly one of Ryan Adams' best albums to date. There's not a bad track on the album, and Adams does a nice job of mixing his style of alternative country with his unique brand of rock, as well. I already have this on CD, but I wanted it on vinyl, as well. I had read some reviews on other sites warning the packaging was sorely lacking but I thought I'd take a chance anyway. I should have listened to the reviews.
The vinyl is on a nice heavy orange colored vinyl - which is nice. But it comes in a generic plastic sleeve like those used for storing picture discs. There is an insert with a foldout poster that comes with it, but it doesn't fit properly in the plastic sleeve so it arrived creased and bent. The album itself hardly fits in the sleeve, as well, so I have mine stored in a generic white album jacket instead. The price for this was very cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. It does sound excellent on vinyl so I would recommend buying it for that, but be warned - this is one of the most disappointing vinyl packagings I have ever come across.
I would recommend this to a friend
