    Defective Ink Cartridge

I bought this cartridge on 12/18/17 and I have only printed 27 pages. Today, 12/21/17 I added a yellow toner and my black cartridge only had 1/3 ink left. I took the cartridge back to Best Buy and their policy was that they could give me a refund because it was opened. I had to call Epson. Spent and hour on the phone with them but they are sending me a replacement cartridge. I’ve noticed with past cartridges though that they do not last long.

I purchased the same time I brought my printer. The Best Buy sales person recommended that I buy it as a back up. He said that the free ink that came with the Printer won't last long, and he was right. Used up the free one at around 50 plus pages of black and white PDF Text documents. After replacing haven't had to change again for 2 months. Mild to moderate user.

A small premium, but worth it

Yes, the real ink costs more than what you can get on the internet from off-label distributors. But The real ink just works better, doesn't clog. For the 3720 printer, the heads aren't being replaced with every cartridge, so using bad ink worries me... it's not just a matter of throwing out the bad ink cartridge. Not worth the risk.

I only gave this 4 stars because ALL ink is to expensive, including these. I bought a new Epson wf-3720 and bought replacements at the same time. I also have a Kodak office hero 6 which is less expensive to replace the cartridges and does great photos but I went with an Epson because of newer functionality and am happy.

I am very pleased with the Best Buy printer ink replacement program. I never have to worry about ink cartridge availability or price for my Epson printer. My printing varies greatly based on a number of volunteer organizations that I belong to, so this is very convenient for me.

Gave this to my husband for Fathers Day. He loves it. He can check his heart rate to finding out how many calories he burns up. It tells him when he is sitting too long. which is great because he sits at a desk most of day.

I use to own a HP printer but purchased an Epson this last time around. So far, I am more impressed with their ink cartridges and life of them. Price point doesn't hurt either. Much more affordable and better total cost of ownership than a HP printer.

Black ink is dull. Doesn't print in a rich black tone at all. Also, my printer doesn't recognize it. Because of this, I can't print. I just paid for a worthless cartridge that makes my printer equally worthless. If I could give this product zero stars, I would.
