High End Value
This is a high end graphics card based on Nvidia's Fermi architecture, first launched late 2010. It is essentially a more cost effective version of the GTX 580, the 570 having one 64-bit memory pipeline turned off, giving it a 320 bit stream, versus the 580's 384 bit memory interface.
This card has impressed me. It seems to run cooler than a GTX 560ti I previously used, mostly attributable to the design of the fan/cooler.
This card will do very well for all current games when at a resolution of 1920x1080 or below, whereas most resolutions above there will require Dual graphics cards when playing the latest DX11-functionality titles.
Very glad that BBY is carrying EVGA brand cards, hope they continue a relationship with this great manufacturer.
Don't forget a minimum 600 watt Power supply! I suggest 700w.
