Here's a security camera that takes the night shift for you-the EZVIZ C3N 1080p AI-Powered Outdoor Smart Security Wi-Fi Camera with Color Night Vision. The C3N comes with 3 night vision modes and AI‐powered person detection capability, providing you with sharp nighttime monitoring and precise alerts. It is equipped with professional optical lenses, 2 built-in spotlights, and 2 IR lights to render sharp color imaging even in pitch-black darkness. AI powered detection differentiates between people and other moving objects. Upon detection of human movement, the camera can automatically flash or be set to manually flash the 2 spotlights to deter unwanted visitors (if Color Night Vision mode is selected, the spotlights will stay on continuously and not flash). The camera runs on AC power and works with the EZVIZ app. It has a microSD Card slot for optional onboard recording and can also be wired to an EZVIZ NVR. Optional Cloud storage plans are also available. With the C3N, you can rest easy, knowing everything is protected.
Q: Is it compatible with Simplisafe system?
A: No - EZVIZ cameras runs on EZVIZ proprietary cloud. You have the ability to view the live videos and playback from your device using the EZVIZ mobile app
Q: does this camera pan and tilt? Or is it fixed position?
A: No - EZVIZ C3N is not a Pan/Tilt camera
A: This is not wireless for electrical, only for wifi. You need to be fairly close to an electrical outlet. If it's more than 4 feet or so, then you need to purchase an extension cord with the proper connectors to match the power cord that comes with the camera. It is very easy to connect to your wifi. You should be able to find a video on YouTube that shows you how.
A: No, there is no two way conversation ability. The camera microphone has the ability to pick up noises indoors or out, but you cannot speak through the camera microphone. Just an FYI, there is an option on the app to shut off the microphone on the camera completely if you so desire.
Q: Does this camera support RTSP?
A: undefined
Q: Would this camera work through a glass window?
A: The indoor cameras work okay through glass, but reflection seems to effect the quality of the pictures. And if the lights on the camera are on, and you have the camera set up behind glass, all you get is the light from the camera reflecting off of the glass...there is no picture at all. I have not tried using the outdoor camera behind glass.
