  • Features
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

Q: Is a dishwasher hookup kit included with this dishwasher?

A: No, the dishwasher hookup kit is sold separately and is not included.

Q: Is the height adjustable?

Q: Does the dishwasher fit pots and pans? Are they better for the top and the bottom?

A: Yes! Better than most standard washers. They come with various inserts that are easy to put in and take out. With most or all inserts removed, I can use a drawer for cookware that never fit in a standard dishwasher, such as large skillets, my wok, my stock pot, etc. I have nerve problems in my hands and just can’t do much hand washing. Like any other dishwasher, I recommend washing cookware before any residue dries and hardens, or do a rinse only cycle to soften them before a regular cycle. I had my stacked drawers dishwasher for 10 years and miss them! I recently sold that home, snd when I replace the dishwasher in the home I bought, it will be a Fisher & Paykel stacked drawer set.

Thin steel - dents easy - loud

I'll start by saying this is our 4th dish drawer. I used to have a single on each side of my sink. I loved the singles. As things failed we would replace or repair with parts from saved units. Decided to replace only one of them with the stacked drawers and get rid of the other single drawer. The difference on the quality and thickness of stainless steel on the old vs the new is night and day. The old ones had zero nicks, zero dents after 10-20 years of use. These bend even by pushing them in between the cabinets. Second thing - they run loud. Old ones were very quiet. These are very loud and in drain mode are so crazy loud. Not great for open concept home. I think I should have tried replacing with an older model, but liking the flat front, we went for it. They do a good job of cleaning, have more space inside. I put my old/old utensil caddy in, because I like the open handle for washing jar rings, etc... Review photos show how curved the steel is and how the dents only show in the right lighting.

So good I bought it again

Fisher Paykel for the win, bought it again. Nice dishwasher for our lifestyle. Love the double drawers. I have to learn to navigate the new button panel- need to keep eye glass readers available! Our original dishwasher was from 2008. Still works, so we put it in the rental house and bought a new one for us.

Best Buy at Best Buy (Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher)

Had a KitchenAid 2-drawer dishwasher for past several years in previous home. Wish I had taken with me to my new house as so disappointed I was unable to find another of this type dishwasher until I found Fisher & Paykel still made one. In searching for the best price, Best Buy carried this brand and 2-drawer style. We were elated to be able to purchase this dishwasher for our new home. The wait was terribly long "due to COVID19" isn't everything? Never the less, the wait was well worth it. It was an easy install for my husband and we have used 3 different settings for the wash so far. An additional plus is that we could only use powder soap in our KitchenAid (which was an excellent brand as well); however, the Fisher & Paykel allows us to also use certain pods which has produced less residue. We love, love, love our new dishwasher and are so glad Best Buy carried this brand and had the best pricing all 'round. We will never go back to a full-size dishwasher as long as the 2-drawer is manufactured.
