Q: Is it annoying to have to open both doors and pull out the tray holding both produce bins every time you want fruit or vegetables?

A: Yes! I miss my one door fridge!

Q: Will a gallon milk jug fit on one of the door shelves?

A: Half gallon, yes. Full gallon, no. If I had to buy a gallon at a time I was pouring it into a glass jug and storing half in the door, other half on the shelf in the gallon container.

Q: Does this refrigerator have an internal water dispenser?

A: No, it does not have an internal water dispenser.

Q: What is the height of this fridge without the hinges?

A: You can find this info online from F&P's specs/manuals for this model. It looks like about 1.25" lower than the hinge height. I would be cautious about building upper cabinets too close to the top of the fridge though; I called F&P to verify air space around the fridge and I was told that the airspace is most critical at the top of the unit. They suggested drilling air holes in the cabinet base to get more circulation. I hope this helps.

Q: Did you guys receive the fridge with the exact model number (found on the lower right side, deep at the back) or was it off by one letter at the end? Is your refrigerator the model with the letter “N” at the end or is it another letter?

Q: Picture of freezer shows a bin of ice on the left, I answer to question "is there an ice maker and cube trays?" Answer was NO So how did the ice get into that picture of the freezer? Do you need a separate ice making machine?

A: There is no ice maker on this particular model--but I recall it is available on other F&P models.

Q: Are the hinges “flush”? Meaning no extra space needed on the left and right sides for doors to be opened.

A: Did you find out if the hinges are flush and don’t need extra space on sides to open doors? I’m trying to go for a “built in” look. Thanks!

Fisher-paykel active smart refrigerator
We purchased a fisher-paykel unit 10 years ago for an apartment we refurbished and it was the best ever buy we made. Fast forward to another place we purchased and by far the 20.c unit was far superior than anything on market

beautiful counter depth refrigerator
I search very long and visited many show rooms to check out Fisher & Paykel lower end counter depth refrigerator. And found only the very high end model are usually in the show room. Luckily I was assured by sales reps that finishes are similar on all models. I have been very pleased with my purchase. I was looking for a clean line design that looks built in at a reasonable cost. Also I did search specifically to find a model that does NOT have an ice maker nor water in the door since I do have a separate water filter source in the kitchen. Also in researching these appliances in general seemed the ice and water filter function in all brands is a big source of repairs and disappointment to reviewers. The inside design is just as beautiful as the outside design with glass shelves and clean and crisp plastic drawers. With the beautiful built in look you do give way to less room for refrigerator and freezer. I think it is completely worth it to have the built in look.
