one of the main reasons i went to best buy was due to the larger showroom, i wanted to see the dishwasher prior to purchase, but i was in need of one now, they don't show off the lower priced models and don't really have any of the models in back, they get mostly all of their appliances from a central warehouse. needless to say, the dishwasher fits in the hole left by the prior one AND looks nice, but it washes poorly and doesn't really dry at all, the internal racks are poorly thought out, the silverwre holder is tiny and stuff falls through the racks all the time, stuff doesn't get fully washed all the time and stuff never gets dried with the high head dry... i really miss my old electrolux, but i wanted to save money, i guess you get what you pay for, Mia Culpa, i wont be buying anything without seeing it first ever again

I am dismayed to hear your dishwasher is not cleaning and drying as expected, timm. The majority of cleaning and drying challenges are related to water temperature. The incoming water temperature should be at least 120°F at the water heater for efficient cleaning and drying. Before starting a cycle, please run the water in the sink until it is hot, to clear cool water from the pipes (like you might do before getting in the shower). Make sure you are using rinse aid, you can even increase the amount dispensed to help with drying (page 11 in your Owner’s Manual has the instructions). If you would like more trouble shooting help, please do not hesitate to connect with us directly for assistance, we are here for you. *Ruth Frigidaire

      Runs With the Door Open

I bought this dishwasher after my old one was damaged. As my husband and I hope to put our home on the market soon, we decided to buy the most affordable dishwasher at Best Buy. Even being affordable it was still over $400 with installation. We've had it 2 weeks and the door refuses to stay close. Not only does it refuse to stay close and opens mid-cycle, IT CONTINUES TO RUN THROUGH THE CYCLE WITH THE DOOR OPEN!!!! How that is even possible is beyond me. I came home to a soaked kitchen when my husband ran it prior to work. Last night, it opened and refused to close. We had to put a chair in front of the door and then tape the door closed just to get it to run. Best Buy is bringing us a new one but I'm terrified it will be the same thing.

When our previous dishwasher (also a base-model Frigidaire) died after about 3 years of use, we decided to buy a similar replacement. (We don't planning on living in our house forever so the basic, white, inexpensive option seemed the best for us.) And, for the price, this one is great. The dishwasher gets dishes very clean and spotless. It didn't seem worth it to pay $125 to Best Buy for installation. It took me a little while, but I was able to install this myself in our kitchen after looking at how we removed the old model and using the instructions that came with this one. I would recommend buyers install themselves to save some money. I suppose this is a bit noisier than other dishwashers I've heard, but we are usually in another room while running a load, so we don't really hear it anyway. Overall, it's a basic, but good dishwasher.

I bought this for the wife. And seriously when I asked her what she didn't like about it, she said that she has to unload it. Installation was all me: This was a fresh install, meaning no cut out in the cabinet. It was pretty easy as long as you have a little electrical and plumbing knowledge. No leaks on first try. Cut out of the cabinet was pretty simple. Spotless dishes: Not so far, but we are also experimenting with different dish washing fluid as well. Dry: It doesn't dry that great, but than it again it is only a 110 outlet, which means it is only the max of 15amp for drying. Noise: I think it is pretty quiet. Now we don't have anything to compare this too, this is our first Dishwasher. But I am pleased with it so far. It is all just basic instructions with basic functions.

Terrible Product and Service from Electrolux

Bought this dishwasher to match Frigidaire products throughout a newly remodeled kitchen. Within three months of operation, the pump began to leak grease and some amount of water. After a painful month of waiting for parts, Frigidaire replaced under warranty. Of course the replacement part went out as well causing another service call and replacement. The third time, I was informed I was out of warranty and I could pay $200 to have a new pump installed. 14 months after I bought it, I am scrapping it to buy a Non-Electrolux dishwasher. Stay away from this one, it is complete garbage.

      Big Disappointment Do Not Buy

I am so disappointed in my Frigidaire dishwasher that I bought at Best Buy since the dishwasher arrived the top drawer has been broke, I spent over $300.00 on this dishwasher including install and have been just putting up with this cheap piece of garbage ever since. The top drawer falls out of the holders that hold it in place and guess what I have to go out and replace it, and due to financial strains I am in misery because of dishwasher which I need badly. I am going to go buy a new dishwasher soon, probably not from Best Buy(which I am not blaming them for this disaster) just Frigidaire the maker. Do not waste your money you will be out of a lot of money and upset like I am.

This was my first time to purchase a dishwasher, so we didn't know much about what we should look for. We decided that since we were moving soon that we would just buy the least expensive one. We got it home and used the old insulation from our broken one and got it installed. first off the door is difficult to open and close, but the worst thing about it is that you can not use the dishwasher soap packets. The soap will not dissolve. We have to cut the packets open and just drop them inside. You definitely can not put it inside of the soap compartment. I definitely will not skimp on our next purchase, which is luckily in one short month.
