A: Just one because scalpers can go eat it.
A: I’m assuming you’re a scalper trying to act like a real human being (forgive me if you aren’t). Hopefully there will be a limit because otherwise scalpers would have a field day. If you are just a normal human and not a scalper I would recommend only buying one as you don’t really need 5 unless you want to give them to you’re friends as gifts or something. I hope this helped
Q: Why is this so expensive can they go down on price like 5$
A: On the Wii Virtual Console the Super Mario Bros alone was 5 dollars. This Game and Watch system has 3 games, digital clock, and also it is a console made to play those games. In my opinion 50 dollars is justified for what you are getting.
Q: Will the screen be backlit?
A: Yes, Game & Watch Super Mario Bros features a backlit full color LCD display.
A: Nintendo have announced this Item, but because they kept it secret it has not gone through FCC approval. FCC Is an independent testing organization that approves electronic Items to be sold in the United States. They make sure that the Item will not interfere with Current products on the market eg. Radio Frequencies, etc. Once it has been given FCC Approval, Nintendo will give the word that the Item can be sold, thus allowing pre-orders. The reason they did not send in for FCC approval before-hand is that there are ways to see what products are going through approval, therefore leaking the knowledge of this mini console before the announcement. In one way this is annoying but in another it allows us to prepare to buy It. So I am glad that we still have a chance to buy it! I hope best buys message comes quick enough! -Cheers
Q: When will this be released at Best Buy? Also, when can I pre-order this?
A: Nintendo's website indicates they are awaiting FCC approval before the product can be offered for sale. There is a "Notify Me" button on Best Buy's page, but I would also recommend checking back regularly.
A: It’s because the FCC is taking their sweet time approving it.
A: Really?! Thanks!! Can't Wait! I'll try to make sure one is saved for you!

Excellent little game, battery lasts a crazy amount of time. Great display. clear bright, and the sound is loud. The brightness and volume can be adjusted as well. Came w super Mario 1&2 and an old time Mario as well. Also serves as a little pocket clock small enough to fit in your pocket. If you wanna be carrying it around. Only down side no screen protector.

Those of us who grew up with Nintendo know that their beginnings in the video game market began with the Game and Watch series of handheld games that were nothing more than a single game that was played on a one color LCD screen. The games themselves were very basic and limited to the technology of the current time but became a piece of gaming history for those of us who grew up during this era. Now 35 years later, we get to see two firsts in the gaming industry reborn for the newer generation of video gamers to enjoy or a trip down memory lane for veterans began their gaming career during the 80's. The original Super Mario Bros. is one of Nintendo's most memorable games that has been remade in other iterations throughout the years. It can be found on almost every other Nintendo system and seems a bit of overkill to have it made yet again in another portable form factor. The thing that sets this version of the game apart from all the others is that it has been recreated on the very first form factor that made Nintendo into the gaming giant it is today. And when the best of old comes together with current technology, it just feels so right. With that in mind, there are both good and bad things to say about this gaming device. After using this for a few weeks, this is what I like and don't like about it. What I do like: For someone who grew up playing the original Super Mario on almost a daily basis during my childhood, being able to play the game again on a recreation of the Game and Watch franchise brings back so many memories for me. The design of the Game and Watch Super Mario 35th anniversary edition feels like it did way back then when I used to play the original Game and Watch games of my childhood. The rubber buttons are still there like in the past and is almost a 1:1 copy of the first generation of games with the exception of the cross pad which is different from the four segment directional layout of the vintage Game and Watch models. It does make playing the game a little easier but due to the size, makes it a bit harder to play as well. it will take some getting used to. The game also has little animations and hidden, discoverable secrets that add to the value as well as a clock function which used to be a part of the original design. What I don't like: Size of the unit. I understand that they were trying to make these units look as authentic as possible, the size of the unit makes it a bit difficult to play as well as I can on a more traditional setup. The placement of the only speaker is also in a bad location and more times than not, my hand covers up the speaker hole which causes distortion of the game sounds. All in all, being able to play one of my favorite games on such an iconic piece of gaming hardware such as this seemed only like a dream up until now. You should definitely pick one up if you can get your hands on one. This will probably get more valuable as time goes on, and to own such a relic of the past is worth every penny to an older gamer like me.

If you’re interested in this, it’s probably worth $50 to you. You can get SMB1 and SMB2J (and G&W Ball) in other ways but that’s not the point. This is a micro console with tons of nostalgia value, plus solid controls and battery life. Get it before the scalpers get them all.
