A: As far as I know there is no fees for updating-- it comes loaded with about 30,000 courses. Fully charged, It lasted 4 hours and still have 35% charge. It comes with Instruction manual and Usb charger.

A: It does count steps and distance, but does not have a heart rate monitor.
Q: My Garmin S20 is set on a foreign language and I can not change it?????
A: Hit ok then go down 4 clicks then click ok then go down 8 clicks the hit ok then go down 1 click and hit ok and you will be set on English .
A: With your Garmin watch showing one of the time settings on the face of the watch, follow these steps: Press OK button once; Press Down button 4x to Settings; Press OK button once; Press Down button 8x to Language; Press OK button once; Press Down button until English shows in the middle if the screen; Press OK button once; Press Back button 2x to get to time.

A: I think just when I am on the course. However, I haven't really tried any other time. I'm sorry. I do LOVE this watch!!!!
