BUY IT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.A couple years ago when I was heavy into running I had a Garmin Forerunner 235 and it was a fantastic watch. After a couple years I didn’t run as much and decided to switch to an Apple Watch. As it was a good watch, I lost a lot of things I liked from my Garmin. I am now back into running and biking and decided to give this watch a shot after much thinking. So far, I have not thought twice about my decision. I had a small problem with syncing to connect but after plugging into my computer and giving it a software update it’s perfect. If you are hesitant I’m here to tell you this is a phenomenal watch and worth every penny. It’s light, it’s comfortable, and unlike Apple, you don’t need to plug it in all the time and you can actually sleep track. It’s so great to have a Garmin and a smart watch in one.

Regret getting it...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Terrible battery life. After a software update the battery dies within hours. I have done multiple hard reset and it has not helped. Garmin's solution is to turn off Bluetooth which defeats the purpose of a smartwatch. I regret my decision of changing from my fenix 5s to this one. Only reason I changed was to be able to talk on it and half of the time it doesn't work!

Great running watch
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Great running watch! Absolutely love the tracking information for running. The phone notifications and apps are not up to smartwatch standards but they are still useful while being active. The app store is VERY limited, mostly just focused on music, see attached screenshot.

Great activity tracker to keep you going.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This is a great fitness tracker, tracks all the necessary things. Fitbit has better sleep tracking, but this has much better coaching, gps and activity detection. I do love this watch! Looks good too.

Great Smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I'll write reviews I feel obligated to write something about this watch. I own other smartwatches this one is very unique. It was not easy to set it up but I managed. This is a watch that I can wear with confidence as it looks nice. It is small but with lots of capabilities. Once it was set up it was fine and ready to go. the ECG is excellent. I recommend this watch to people who work out or just as daily smartwatch.

Game changer in my routine. 5 stars
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Love my Garmin Venu 2 Plus (and the Connect app). My only comparison is my wife has a Samsung watch and I think my Venu 2 Plus is superior in dozens of ways. Imo one of the best things is the battery life; I can charge it from like 5% up to 100% in no time and then go 4+ days on that charge and that's with Bluetooth on 24/7, display brightness high, etc. Display and watch face options and customization are extensive and easy. You can track anything and everything you want to on this thing and can customize it to focus on KPIs and data that are important to you. I mean it. A lot of interesting features and apps; I just took an ECG reading. Oh, and it looks cool as a watch with a classic kind of design. It's now a key part of my daily routine. I track my hydration with simple touch to log an 8oz drink, I track my daily weigh in, I watch my sleep patterns and how that's impacting everything, I watch my heart data and look for abnormalities of any kind, I teach stationary cycling routine (with Bluetooth connection to my bike.. sweet), walking with my wife, weight training, and swimming. 5 stars from me.

Great Apple alternative
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This watch is a great everyday watch. The amoled display is vibrant and clear. It’s comfortable and great looking. I love being able to download more custom watch faces from the garmin connect app. It tracks my steps and heart rate accurately and swiftly. The Spotify feature is my favorite. I’m able to download my playlists and listen to them from the watch without my phone. I get about 5 days on a full charge. Sometimes up to 7. A couple cons: You can’t respond to any texts via typing or quick response. The price is a little steep for lacking features that the Apple Watch has standard. Overall, great watch and I’m very happy with it. Try to find deals on it, and you’ll be happy too.

Q: QuestionAre there any serious lap swimmers that would recommend this watch?
Asked by Rick.
- A:Answer Yes I recommend. I was looking for a watch to use during my swimming to track my heart rate and performance. After testing it against the samsung watch 4, amazfit gtr pro and my polar chest heart monitor, the watch that got closer to the polar was the garmin venu 2 plus.
Answered by GadgetFan
Q: QuestionThe Garmin website shows the Venu 2 plus with a screen of 43mm. It does not state the the 33mm is available from Garmin as it states on Best Buys sight. Which one is correct? Is the Best Buy description of 33mm for the watch diameter a typographical?
Asked by PamR.
- A:Answer They are both correct. 33mm refers to the dimension of the screen. 43mm refers to the dimensions of the case. The physical dimensions of the watch is 43.6mm x 43.6mm. The display itself is 33mm diameter.

Q: QuestionI'm buying this for someone who uses an android phone. Is the venu 2 the only Garmin watch you can answer phone calls on? the person who wants this wants to be able to answer on the watch
Asked by van.
- A:Answer Other watches can answer calls too. Samsung galaxy for example can answer calls. But garmin does better at tracking calories burned based on actual heart rate. I think galaxy calculates differently. Wife has galaxy watch with android and she asks to borrow my Venu1 all the time.
