Q: Do the knobs show light when the burners are on?
A: Yes, there is an indicator light above each control knob to show when it's being used.
Q: top is a gas range, is the oven electric or gas?
A: This model is fueled by gas and utilizes gas for both the cooktop and for the oven. This gas range, just like many new gas range models, has an upper electric heating element that comes on during Bake only for top browning of foods. This element is not used during Broil.

A: Yes, It is a nice heavy reversible cast iron griddle that reverses to a grill.
A: This is a gas range and does not feature a "Hot Cooktop Light." A flame can be observed at the burner when it is on.
Q: Are the oven racks porcelain coated?

Q: Does this range have a locking feature for when it is not being used?
A: Yes, this model has a Control Lock feature that locks the oven controls. The Control Lock only locks the oven controls and does not lock the cooktop controls. To lock the controls, hold the Cook Time pad for three seconds. Lauren@GEAppliances
