A: Thanks for your help. It was an installation problem. Had it reinstalled properly. I can't believe how quiet the microwave is now!
A: The readout is white. Please keep in mind that in this particular model there in nothing on the screen at all, it is blank unless the door is opened or the oven is in use. Basically, the oven looks like it is not on until you open the door or start dialing the menu then the screen goes off again. There is no way to fix it, GE considers this a "feature".

A: Hey there and thanks for reaching out! When it comes to venting outside, this is just the air pulled from the cooktop below. When using the microwave, any steam will vent out the front, above the door. Light airflow is normal and not dangerous for the cabinets above. However, if you’re noticing excessive air/steam when using the cooktop vent, it’s possible you may need to reach out to your installers. A: Hey there, This is a great question. If you plan to bake on only one level, then you do not need to use the wire rack, but the non-stick metal tray must be used unless prompted to do so otherwise by the oven. A: This oven/microwave can vent to the front, to the back or to the top. I have mine vented to the top and it goes outside the house. The unit comes with everything to vent to back, front, or top. You do not need to purchase anything extra. Ducting to vent outside are not including with the unit.
Q: Is this the best replacement for my SCA2000FBB02 GE Advantium Oven?
A: Hi K, thanks for your question! We'd be happy to help. All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy! - NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model.
