Q: What is the temperature range.
A: Hello; I do have (2) of these Geeni Outside Security Camera's and it does get very hot out here in sunny Arizona, and so far, I have had no problems with them at all. Rain, cold weather or the hot sun, both still work without any issues. Hope this helps.
Q: This is wifi...does it need to be plugged in ?
