This Movie has Great 3D Effects but Unfortiunately Best Buy took it Down Due to Limited Copies Of 3D so I had no Choice but to Buy the Regular Blu-ray Combo Buy this Movie is a Nice Set Up to Shoe Off your TV.

Gerard Butler stars as Gerard Butler, whis his mysteriously absent Disney wife must save the world for his Mary Sue hypergenious scientist daughter. I love this movie so much. Countdown to Geostorm!..

I was shocked by my visible excitement when hearing about this movie. I originally went into movies like Volcano and Dante's Peak expecting the pinnacle of summer action blockbusters, and was delivered. Then, movies like Day After Tomorrow and 2012 came around. Well, it was time to abandon the "good" movie expectation and just see how far they were willing to take the genre. Geostorm did not fail. Much in the tradition of global warming chasing people down hallways, Geostorm reminds you that if you don't want to get burned stay out of the kitchen (because the Geostorm satellite goes from earth's core to ice age in the span of 14.2 inches).

It was a blowout disaster movie with great special effects, And Gerard Butler does not disappoint, and the cast did a great job delivering the story as written. I meant what I said Gerard Butler does not ever disappoint, but this movie was slow getting in to the story.What I disagreed with was that, no matter who is in control controlling the weather except God, it is wrong. I think the story line said that in a round about way, but did the average movie viewer see that? Movie got a well deserved PG-13, depending on your family standards, this could be a great family movie,I am reluctant to recommend it as one, because some parts could be confusing to the younger adults. I did not see the movie on the big screen, but I did buy the Blue ray because of cast and subject matter, and over all I do like it. I gave this movie a 6 on IMDB.
