A: Yes, it may require a BIOS update via a USB Flash drive to support the new processor depending on the manufacture date of the motherboard. Only takes about 5 minutes and is easy to do. Download the newest BIOS from gigabyte for the board. Uncompress the ZIP file onto a usb drive. Insert the USB into the motherboard with just the power connector attached. Hit the BIOS Flash button on the back of the board. In just a few minutes, your board has the newest BIOS version. Easy peasy.

A: I got this motherboard from micro center 3 months ago. It goes really well with my Ryzen 7 3700 but I don’t know when it will be back in stock
