Work smart with this 12.3-inch Google Pixelbook 2-in-1 Chromebook computer. Its adjustable touch-screen display lets you use it as a tablet, and the Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM ensure sufficient computing power to run Internet browsers and other apps. This refurbished Google Pixelbook 2-in-1 Chromebook computer has a 128GB SSD to back up data.
Q: What was the condition of the unit you received? Any signs of wear?
A: Brand new. Perfect.
A: According to the link you supplied it states refurbished products are covered for 90 days after purchase: From the middle of the second paragraph: “If your device has been refurbished, Google warrants that the device and included accessories will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use in accordance with Google's published product documentation for ninety days from the date of retail purchase by you (these warranties are collectively referred to as our “Limited Warranty”).”
A: I am sure this varies from computer to computer so it is impossible to answer your question but I think you should be prepared for a slight imperfection. Mine came a week ago and I wouldn't say I see any wear and tear.
Q: If the pen comes with the pixelbook, why does it say pen sold separately?
A: The "pen" (actually a stylus) is NOT included. The stylus is sold seperatly and you'll have spend extra money for it. I'm totally happy without it--AND I love using a stylus on my Samsung Note and tablet devices. But, yes, the stylus is not included.
Q: What is bestbuy's/Geek squad's warranty on this?
A: 90 days.
Q: Can I purchase an extended warranty for this through Best Buy?
A: Yes you can, but you should honestly go with a different chromebook, not this one. The hardware will eventually fail, and you'll have to have it replaced, because you cannot repair a Pixelbook. It's not the Cadillac of Chromebook like they try to make it seem in the commercials. It's a basic chromebook, at a premium price. And the pen is sold separately and only works on the Pixelbook.
Q: CAN WE DO CAD AND ALL THOSE GRAPHICS STUFF IN THIS?
A: Probably, but you have you have to do it either online or you can use android apps, which don't work. Honestly, for graphics you should get an Ipad or a surface computer. They have real apps, that don't have to be used online. The pixelbook is crap. Don't waste your time.
