The first two season seemed very rushed, trying to introduce too many characters too fast in a flurry of violence which made them to make them seem like villains too early. This past season 3 really was able to develop a lot of the lasting characters a lot more and moved away from the dark centrally controlled underworld. The drama remains, The Penguin retains a major role (running for mayor nonetheless!) and Edward Nygma gets in over his head. Bruce Wayne begins to break out of his shell as a child begins to adopt a new "rich spoiled brat" persona, which will shape his alter ego. We see more of Selina Kyle becoming more into the role of nemesis instead of friend, Gordon being a true badass and pushing past his fears and inhibitions and Bullock developing more of a brash attitude and showing that he still has a soft side. I enjoyed this season the most over the previous two.
