A: After several hours of frustration...it does have a reset button contrary to Best Buy’s response! The reset button is a very very tiny pinhole that you use a paperclip or thumbtack, I used a paperclip and held for like five seconds or something it is right next to the power plug very small pinhole probably an eighth of an inch to the side of the where the power cord conects. Hopefully my post helps at least one person I normally don’t Reviewer or comment publicly
Q: Does the camera record video?
A: Yes, the camera can record video.
A: There is no Guardzilla hub or "system" as you called it , each Guardzilla camera connects directly to your home WiFi . The difference between the 2 models is whether it is weather resistant with a wall mount ( this one ) or designed to just sit on a table or shelf ( the other model)

Q: the mic and speaker icons dont tun on/green. no sound or two way audio. how do I fix?
A: There is NO SOUND/ 2WAY AUDIO for this OUTDOOR/INDOOR VERSION. IT IS ONLY VIDEO. ONLY THE INDOOR SECURITY VERSION HAS IT. :( SORRY..HOPEFULLY, THEY'LL CHANGE THIS. I HAVE 3 IN MY HOUSE AND i WOULD BUY 2 FOR OUTDOORS IF THEY MADE IT LIKE THE INDOOR VERSION.

A: If you do the free version of the guardzila app it's 5 seconds of recording, per motion if you get the package on the app 49.99 for a year it's 30 seconds
A: I tried rechargeable batteries(new ones) and the results were that they needed to be changed on a daily basis. I ended up getting lithium batteries.
Q: What is the wifi range capability?
A: I'm not sure of the range, but I have a two level apartment home and I have one camera downstairs where the modem is and the other camera upstairs. It works fine.
