A: This blender does a great job with margaritas (smile), but I wouldn't call it quiet. That said, I'm obviously not as kind or considerate as you are, as I've never really thought about the noise a blender makes. I guess what i'm saying is that it's not quiet, but I'm not sure that it's substantially nosier than other blenders. Bottom Line: I'm guessing that if you paid three or four times as much you could probably get a slightly quieter blender, but it wouldn't be worth it for me. For the money, this is a very good blender.
