Director Neil Marshall’s reboot of the Hellboy film series sees David Harbour replacing Ron Perlman as the titular half-demon superhero. With the help of his powerful colleagues at the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.) and other allies, Hellboy attempts to stop an ancient British sorceress (Milla Jovovich) from destroying humanity.~Augustine Chay

This form of hellboy is okay it's good but it's not as good as the original. The storyline for it is very well done. The gentleman who they had playing hellboy...John Harbour was okay but just a little too dull in his acting. I actually like two they had playing Professor Broom, Ian McShane he made an excellent professor broom the character The voice he's just perfect the most characters he portrays. The ending was a little predictable but not predictable. It was interesting for them to find Abraham at the end of it anybody who doesn't know I'm talking about Abraham Sapien.all in all it's not like the original first two with Ron perlman playing hellboy but it is pretty decently done.if you're a fan of the first two and also fan of the comic book it's a good movie to have in your collection.
Wasn't sure I was going to like it, ya know, without Ron Pearlman but I was pleasantly surprised. I still don't understand why the studios keep making the same movie over and over. Sure, prequels and sequels, fine but just remakes, pointless. Anyway, this was pretty good and fun but they went the extra mile because they knew this wasn't going to hold up to the other two.
This is a reboot and not a continuation after Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, so just know that going into this movie. David Harbour is great as Hellboy (and I do like Millia Jovovich as the villian here, too). The plot seems to be a little closer to its comic book origins than the Del Toro movies, so that's a plus. The worst news here is that Abe Sapien isn't even present until the very end as a teaser, and we likely won't see a sequel due to how poorly this one performed at the box office. If you're a super hero / comic book movie fan, you'll still want to add this one to your collection. It's not as bad as some of the reviews indicate.
I would recommend this to a friend

Didn't loke it as much as the originals but still liked it.
This 4K Blu-ray of Hellboy (2019) is amazing. The video quality is superb, with excellent HDR and detail, thanks to the native 4K resolution brought to us by Lionsgate.
The audio is excellently mixed, with plenty of powerful bass, crispy clear dialogue, overhead and surround sound. This Dolby ATMOS track really kicks major butt and is available on both the 4K UHD disc along with the standard Blu-ray.
There is also lots and lots of special features included on the standard Blu-ray, which is worth checking out if you're a movie buff.
I personally enjoyed the original Guillermo Del Toro and Ron Perlman Hellboy movies much more. Those movies were fun, action packed packed, funny, and creative. If you're thinking of buying this 2019 Hellboy reboot, I highly suggest renting it first due to all the mixed reactions from audiences.
If you're just a straight movie buff with a 4K TV and a surround sound system, you won't be disappointed.
