Love This Fan
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I am very pleased with the Honeywell QuietSet Fan. Set up was a breeze and it is very sturdy. My favorite setting is White Noise which is low enough as the temperature cools, But I am sure I will get used to all the other settings. It’s so nice to have a choice other than high, medium and low. Having an option to turn the night light off is great because the blue light bothers my husband. We replaced an old fan that we had for 15 years and what a difference this one makes, with the technology. Another plus is having an option of a timer with options of one, two, four or eight hours. Very pleased with the purchase.

Honeywell is Honeygood
||Posted .This fan is exactly what I needed for this hot summer. Not only is it quieter than my previous fan, but even some of the lowest settings keep the air in my bedroom cooler than the Polar Wind fan I had (albeit the fan was probably going out anyway). Definitely recommend for anyone else trying to escape the heat!

- A:Answer I just bought this a couple weeks ago for my boyfriends room and it gets really hot in his house but we keep it on all day most of the time and every night we sleep with it on just constantly running. Occasionally we’ll turn the settings down if it gets too cool but it never shuts off after a certain time frame, we just keep in running

- A:Answer Oscillation of existing cool air when oscillator mode is engaged. It uses no refrigerant. It is not an A/C. A simple tower fan.

- A:Answer I use it to help circulate the air from the air conditioning vents. It works well for that. Without air conditioning it might help to make things more comfortable.

- A:Answer No. I just use a can of compressed air. I unplug the fan, turn the fan around and you can see the workings thru a grate of sorts. I spray the dust off that way. Do not use anything else, i.e., a lubricant or water.
