Q: can you set the heater to run for longer periods than 8 hours?
A: Not unless you leave it to the on setting which will run it until it reaches the temp you set on thermostat and then turn off and come back on when the area drops below.
Q: SafetyTip automatic shutoff
A: Take a look at the manual or call customer service. The heater has settings that automatically turn itself of after a certain temp is reached or time.
A: It makes a little noise but compared to other heaters I’ve had it’s a lot quieter. It doesn’t make any beeping sounds either.
