Q: What is the difference between Windows 10 and Windows 10 S? What is Windows 10?
A: Windows 10 is this laptop's operating system. Windows 10 S is "safe" or "secure" mode of this operating system. It only allows you to add/download apps (or programs) from the Windows store, so as to prevent malware or computer viruses. If you want to add apps or programs not in the Windows store, you will need to switch out of S or "safe" mode. This can be done fairly easily (Google switching out of Windows 10 S), but once done, you cannot switch back to S mode. Hope this helps.
