HP produces a range of printers. This printer scanner is a basic inkjet printer for personal use. The scanner is excellent by the way. At a price less than $30 it was a best deal at Best Buy !!

I bought this printer as a gift for my husband and I. It was easy to assemble and the set-up was a breeze. I do have to say it is a bit bulky and oddly shaped. Easy to connect it to the Wi-Fi and all. Only two characteristics I do NOT like. 1. It is really loud! Our old printer/scanner/copier was not as loud as this thing is...it could wake the whole house up! 2. The power off button, which is the same as the power on button, you have to hold it for 3 plus seconds for it to turn off. Our older printer responded to the one touch. However, I do like that it is wireless and can work with my smartphone...have yet to use that feature though...for $28 bucks it's a good printer for the door buster price!

It is very decent printer. Love it how it is wireless. I am able to print out anything from any of my device and where ever I am in my home. Didn't have to move the printer at all... Printing comes out fine copier is awesome.

I purchased this printer for a ridiculously low price on Black Friday. I was expecting to get a printer that would perform just ok considering how economical it was. I have been pleasantly surprised. It prints very well. Clean and concise. It has totally exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with my purchase. The only issue I have is that it is very loud. Something I can tolerate though given the low purchase price and fantastic printing results.

I purchased this printer during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and got it for $26! Yeah, the ink may be les than cost effective, but printing the few coupons or such per week, makes the purchase more than adequate. The print quality is good, and the wireless printing makes it a breeze! Super easy to set-up! It even came with the USB A/B cord that is needed if the need arose for a USB cable.

I bought this printer to help my wife print things at home as and when she wants. It has been more than 6 months and I would say with regular use of 4-5 pages a week, this has been an excellent printer. Have been using it with Airplay and setup was very easy. Scanner and copier options are good too. Excellent Product at excellent price!!

The printer itself is pretty good. You can wireless (or via cord) connect to the printer to print things off your computer, phone, tablet, etc. You can also print copies by placing your original copy on the glass of the printer. There is also a scan option where you can scan documents into your computer. The only issue I have with this printer is the ink. When it comes time to change the ink, be careful not to install the ink cartridge and take it out before it is used up. You may get an error message saying the cartridge is counterfeit. You may get this same message when you try to install off brand ink cartridges. The printer will not work until you resolve this issue.

- Answer It comes with regular ink cartridges. I weighed a new one that came with the printer and a new one out of the box and both Tri-color cartridges weighed 1.4 ounces. They are not XL cartridges.

QuestionInk and paper types?If one of the colors are empty, will all printing stop? If all the color ones in one cartridge, all but one has much ink..one is empty..whole thing a waste? What types of paper with this print on? I have yet to see any info on paper types HP will print on.. Never anything on that. Will it print on card stock? Will it print on iron on transfer paper? Will it print on clear thin papers or velum????

- Answer The HP Deskjet 2544 should work on a single cartridge mode. The single-cartridge mode is initiated when an ink cartridge is removed from the ink cartridge carriage. During single-cartridge mode, the printer can copy documents, copy photos, and print jobs from the computer. This printer only has two cartridges a black and a Tri-color. This printer should print on card stock up to 110lb index. It should print on HP Iron-on transfers and HP transparency film.
