    Excellent Laptop

    The HP OmniBook X is a very clean-looking and modern laptop. It’s lightweight, boots up quickly, and performs well for daily tasks like work, school, and entertainment. The display quality is sharp, and the battery life has been dependable so far. I also like how quiet it runs and how smooth everything feels when switching between apps. It’s a great option if you want something powerful but still simple and easy to use. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others looking for a dependable laptop.

    very fast computer comes with a lot of features

    to date I have not had any problems with the performance of the computer--out of the box the set up was straightforward and all the updates loaded as expected. Printer drives and other software I had loaded perfectly. Some minor issues: 1) there seems to be a lot of HP specific software loaded and not sure why the PC store is loaded as I keep getting prompted for purchasing additional software---I was able to install the PC store and I am no longer getting prompted for add ons, 2) inserting peripherals into the USB ports and then trying to remove the device was difficult and not easy---it required a lot of effort to pull out the USB device as if the port wasn't a good fit, 3) when using an HP hub the resolution on the laptop needed to be reset to work with an additional monitor- this caused the size of the screen on the laptop to shrink when I changed the size of the desktop icons, and 4) the memory usage still seems high (>30%), even though the actual number of processes I am running is low. I am still working to optimize my laptop. Overall, I think the laptop is a good value for the price I paid (was on sale at Best Buy) and I expect it to meet my needs for an everyday laptop.

    HP-OmniBook X 17.3" Touch Screen Laptop

    Smooth typing on the large keyboard. Battery life is great. Lite weight, large screen is wonderful.
