Great, but sucks!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of I'd like to say how much I loved this watch! Great design, nice and light when wearing, awesome battery. It literally had all the features I wanted. BUT, heres the bad part, it constantly disconnects from my phone! It never syncs! I constant have to "touch to reconnect" and NEVER has it once recorded my steps climbed. So i just get the constant spinning circle saying "connecting". I read several reviews of people saying they had this issue, but I disregarded it because I liked it so much. But now ill be returning it sadly. Oh and because it wont sync, all the features are not usable because they are grayed out. This product would have gotten 5 stars if it did what it suppose to.

Posted .Dear customer,
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience with your Huawei Fit was not the best.
Let us provide you the following information, The HUAWEI FIT does not have support for climbing data.
Regarding the connection problem, when the watch and phone have a Bluetooth connection, they need to stay within Bluetooth range of each other and not be affected by interference.
If the watch and phone cannot be connected, please do the following:
1. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on the phone. If the Bluetooth switch is off, turn it on and place the watch and the phone beside each other and try connecting Bluetooth again.
2. Open the Huawei Wear app, go to the Devices screen, touch the correct watch Bluetooth name, and then connect the watch with phone. Do not connect the watch from the Bluetooth devices list on the phone.
On the watch, touch "More">"About" to check the Bluetooth name.
3. If the watch already has a Bluetooth connection with another phone or app, you will not be able to find the device by searching it. Please disconnect it from any third-party apps or other phones and try again.
4. For Android users, make sure the app is running in the background. We recommend adding the app to the list of protected background apps. On the Mate S, for example, go to Settings > All > Protected apps to add it.
For iOS users, please go to "Settings">"Bluetooth", touch the circle beside the previously paired device, and then select "Forget This Device". After Bluetooth is disconnected, try searching for the device and connecting again.
5. After the watch and phone have been disconnected from Bluetooth for a short time, the watch will automatically reconnect to the phone. If it does not automatically reconnect, please open the app and swipe down on the app's home screen to reconnect.
6. Restart the app and re-enable Bluetooth on the phone. In the app, go to "Devices" screen, touch the watch's Bluetooth name to connect it with the phone.
7. If you still cannot establish a Bluetooth connection through the methods listed above, please restart the watch and your phone and try connecting again.
A watch can only be connected to a single phone at one time. Once the devices are successfully paired, other phones will not be able to find the watch.
If you want to connect a different phone to your watch, please first delete the connection between the watch and the first phone.
Android users:
Open the Huawei Wear app, touch Devices, swipe left in the area where the watch's Bluetooth name is shown, and then touch Delete.
iOS users:
Go to Settings > Bluetooth¸ touch the circle beside the previously paired watch, and then select Forget This Device.
You can also turn off Bluetooth on the first phone and then open the Huawei Wear app on the other phone. Then you can scan for the watch and connect.
Please if the steps detailed above does not work, feel free to contact us through our official channels (http://consumer.huawei.com/us/support/index.htm), we will be more than glad to assist you.
Best regards. NF

Don't buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The back of the watch started to crack and cut my wrist after four month. Now it is totally useless. I did not contact the customer service because I looked up online that a lot of people had the same problem and had contacted the customer service but they never gave a response. I used to be a fun of Huawei, but not anymore. For activity tracking, I think it is better to go with Fitbit.

Very worthy competitor for Fitbit and Garmin
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Context: For comparison to "Huawei Fit", I also own and have extensively used: the new Pebble 2 HR; Garmin Forerunner 235 and Vivosmart HR; the new Fitbit Charge 2 & Surge & Blaze; Microsoft Band 2; and Philips Health Watch. The Huawei Fit is a very worthy alternative to all the above fitness trackers. What I LIKE about the Huawei Fit: - Always-on, readable screen - Long battery life (after 48 hours of continuous wearing, including continuous HR, I'm still at 80%!).. at only 10% per day decrease, that is on track for 10-day battery life - Premium looking round form factor! (See pic, where I swapped out the stock 18mm band with a metal 18mm band) - Auto-backlight (gesture controlled) - Accurate HR (per "TUV SUD" test specs, it exceeded regulatory requirements, look it up!) - HR level interval & warning... meaning you can say "buzz me if my HR goes above ___" - Water rating to 50 meters (165 feet), meaning swimming with it is ok. It even can track swimming as an activity. - You can fire up a GPS association on your phone through the app, and it will turn on the constant-HR, and blend it all in the app. Although it has no on-board GPS (like Fitbit Surge or Microsoft Band or Forerunner 235) it can use your phone's GPS like Fitbit Blaze... so that's better than nothing. What I DON'T like about the Huawei Fit (aka "what I would change"): - The HR graphs are not as detailed as Fitbit's or Garmin's.. where you can touch the graph and see the HR reading and the time it was taken anywhere on the graph. Instead, with Huawei, it only shows the highest and lowest reading for the entire day - The gesture control to change screens (where you turn your wrist to move from clock to HR to step count, etc) is too sensitive. A turn of my wrist to see the time will often flip the screen pages. - Activities are not "auto"-tracked.

Best Looking Active Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned the Samsung Gear S, Pebble 2, and the Moto 360 2nd Gen. Pebble looked the worst but had the best battery life Samsung had the best screen, but i couldn't take advantage of its full OS due to me not having a Samsung phone Moto 360 2nd gen looked the best, but the LCD screen and battery life were bad (and constant disconnection of Bluetooth). I got this watch for $99.99 from Best Buy and i must say, not only is it cheaper than most watches at that sale price, it is the best looking of the lot. Sleek, simple, and thin (though not as thin as the Pebble time). I got the gun metal\black version, and i love the surround dashes on it (gives it a real watch premium lock). The screen is super easy to see day and night. It does ALMOST everything i want it to do (i am on the latest Firmware as of Nov 25. 2016). The simple clock face is fine (though more to choose from would be great). What i noticed in all those watches i've owned before is that i never answered calls nor texts from a watch. So this watch simply displaying what comes in is perfect. Heart rate seems to be accurate so far (latest Update). The step counts are a bit off (comparing on my phone), this is something i ordinarily wouldn't mind, but i think it uses that to calculate calories burned? Bluetooth has not once disconnected from my phone and battery life is extremely good! Bravo! The ONLY thing (as mentioned in other review here), is that i DO NOT like the wrist flick scroll through options feature. I hope Huawei releases a firmware that can make an Off\Disable button for that.

Posted .We agree that the Huawei fit is aesthetically the best watch on the market! As far as your issue regarding the over sensitive flick scroll options, here is some information to decrease the inconvenience this may cause you: Turning on the screen by rotating your wrist depends on the screen's direction. You can only rotate your wrist to turn on the screen when the screen is facing up. It is recommended that you do not wear the watch too loosely. Also, touch the screen to turn it on when you are lying down. Thank you for your business! (SP)

Great watch but showing some issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been a very nice fitness tracker and watch. No frills helps with long battery life. Sleep tracking is very accurate. Lately been getting some skin rashes on the wrist where I wear it so skeptical of using it for long hours in general.

Nice First Smart Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been thinking about getting a smart watch for a while but didn't know if I would actually get enough use out of it to warrant spending several hundred dollars on some of the top brands. So I found this Huawei watch and it seemed perfect for what I needed. I don't need a ton of features like the top watches have because I'm going to have my phone within 20 feet of me otherwise the watch disconnects anyway. So I didn't need to watch videos or get every application that's on my phone on my watch. I just wanted to get notifications from text messages, calendar appointments, and emails. I also wanted basic health data like steps, distance, and calories. And I needed a watch I could swim with so I didn't have to worry about getting it wet. This watch is perfect for that. It is simple to use and understand and because it doesn't have all the bells and whistles like other smart watches, it's very easy to learn and understand and navigate. I love the round face because it looks like an actual watch. It lasts probably about a week before I will charge it which is a vast improvement over the 18 hours the apple watch gives. The magnetic charger is really nice. There are a few different faces you can choose from so it would be nice to have a bit more variety. I also would like a color display but the monochrome display is one of the reasons the battery life is so good. I don't use the "flick the wrist" to flip through the menu because it is a bit finnicky. The screen also doesn't work as well if your fingers are wet or sweaty. I like the quick disconnect straps so I can change out the rubber band for a metal one I bought easily. It's also a great size for me. I have pretty small wrists, I guess average for a woman, but I enjoy big watches. This one is probably as small as I would go, but looks nice on my wrist. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Solid fitness watch, poorly executed App
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the look and design of the device. Monochrome in my personal beliefs is the way to go with these watches to extend battery life and give it a sleek professional look which this pulls off well, especially with certain watch faces for whatever occasion you are attending and the ability to replace the band with any you buy online. Did I mention it's waterproof with a swimming tracker function! Also on average I would get about 4 days battery life out of this that's with tackling a 45 minute workout session at least everyday those 4 days, this makes the heart rate sensor start on which reduced the battery life from 6 to 4 days but if say just regular use to could steps you definitely will get 5 days before it needs a charge. Downside would be the pedometer adds about a thousand steps every 3 thousand taken. That's a pretty significant flaw but hopefully will get fixed with a future firmware update once the Huawei watch two settles. The app also needs a lot of work. You can track your runs on GPS only when activated on the phone but then didn't display on the watch but will save a map of your run route. If you start a run from your watch it will still use the gps from your phone but it won't save a map of your run route. This still is a solid device for the money that is way more esthetically playing then anything you will find in the fitness watch section. It gets the job done, you just have to do some math till they fix the pedometer or raise your goal amount so you know where you really are at. Definitely recommend this though too anyone looking for a cheap but hourly useful fitness tracker that's easy on the eyes!

Posted .Dear Customer,
We couldn't be happier with your outstanding review.
The Huawei Fit has an exquisite design, along with the multi-sport modes and its long battery life, this device is hard to beat.
Your wearable device uses industry leading, cutting edge sensors. These sensors can meet the demands common users have for step counting. You may see step count data discrepancies in the following situations:
>When compared with other products, the methods used by your wearable device help to avoid counting steps erroneously in a number of situations, for example, when you are working or when you stand up and your arms don't swing regularly. Eating and brushing your teeth can also produce erroneous step counting. If other step counting products don't deal with these situations in a similar way, then the number of steps they count will be many more than the actual number of steps as recorded by your wearable device.
>During daily life, it is normal and common for our arms or body to sway. If you start to sway in a regular pattern in some situations, continue doing so for a relatively long duration of time, and the accelerometer sensor data is similar to walking, then the wearable device may incorrectly think that you are walking and start to count steps.
>If you walk just a few steps when the device is counting steps, but the walking activity does not continue, the wearable device may not record those steps. This may result in an extremely small discrepancy.
We really appreciate your feedback and we want to assure you that we will take care of this information for future improvement.
We hope you keep enjoying your great smartwatch.
Thank you for choosing Huawei. NF
Q: QuestionCan I put music on it in get notifications on it how about making phone calls and can I go swimming with it and take a shower with it in a built-in GPS?
Asked by Xbox360slim.
- A:Answer You can't put music on it, but you can receive calendar, text, phone call, and email notifications. You can't make phone calls, but you can swim and shower with the watch with no problems. It uses connected GPS so it links up to your phone when running, walking, or biking.

Q: QuestionI read in news that the HUAWIFI fit could last up to 30 days in standby mode. Is there really a "standby" option in the watch?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No, not specifically a choice you can select. After 2 full days of continuous wearing, literally, the battery has only decreased from 100% to 80%... meaning 10% per day. That equals 10 days with normal used (few dozen notifications per day, 1 alarm per day, continuous HR, sleep tracking, and 30 mins of workout per day). Therefore, "standby" likely means if you take it off and don't wear it at all... thus "standing by"... it can sit there and still hold a battery charge for a month. Since it seems to last 10 days with normal usage, I can see how 30 days of zero usage would still have a charge. LOL
Answered by Sandankenpo
Q: QuestionDo any of the watch face options include a second hand?
Asked by momofdcn.
- A:Answer Yes, the Huawei fit can have a second hand displayed on it's face. (SP)
Answered by Huawei Customer Care
Q: QuestionWill this device track my paces with no phone connection? For example, I want to wear it and go for a walk without my phone. Does it work?
Asked by Talgat.
- A:Answer Yes, it will absolutely count steps on the watch itself, independent of your phone. There is no onboard GPS, though, so without your phone you will not see a map of where you walked. But the steps themselves? Yes, that is all tracked on the watch, stored on the watch, and can be synced to the app when you get back near your phone.
Answered by Sandankenpo
Q: QuestionWill the battery life get better (less power for communication) or worse (keep searching for a phone) if I use the watch without connecting it to a phone? I would choose to not connect to a phone all the time if it could make the battery life even better.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes. Your battery will get better dependent upon which mode you have the watch set to. If you keep your watch in "standby mode", you can reach up to 30 days of usage! If you have your watch paired or connected to your phone, you will get about 6 days of active use with the Huawei Fit. If you have any other questions, let us know. Thanks! (NS)

Q: QuestionSorry that I didn't understand. The band are 20mm or 18mm? Thanks a lot
Asked by TnDan81.
- A:Answer The watch has a long strap model and a short strap model. The long strap model fits the following range of wrist sizes: 140–210 mm. The short strap model fits the following range of wrist sizes: 130–210 mm. The band width is 18 mm. (NS)
Answered by Huawei Customer Care
Q: QuestionWill the black version be available in small? If so when will it be available?
Asked by JM.
- A:Answer I also wanted a small version for the band. But when my large version arrived I find the watch is actually smaller than how it looks online. So the large version of the band actually serves me better.
Answered by zjtzlhlhs
Q: QuestionHi, I read that comes in 2 sizes (bands). I am not expert on it. The Large size, fits with 20mm bands? and small with 18mm bands? Thanks!
Asked by TnDan81.
- A:Answer I thought the same thing at first... 20mm for the large and 18mm for the small. Not true. I bought the large and the lugs can accommodate ONLY 18mm width pins. I am sure the small is therefore also 18mm. Since the stock band "flares out" beyond the lugs... actually allowing the band to be "thicker" like a 20mm band would be... that is probably where the media got confused and said "either 18 or 20mm". You can see from my pic that the band is broader than the section that goes into the lugs... meaning the lugs are only 18mm... but the band widens to 20mm. Bottom line: the part where the pins fit into the lugs is only 18mm.
